We ate at the restaurant once and the food was good. Definately recommended.

The Trendwest suites have recently been refurbished. They are very clean and modern and i would recommend anyone to stay here. They are five minutes walk from the train station and are about a 10 minute walk from darling harbour and cockle bay wharf, which comes to life in the evening. There are lots of lovely restaurants and trendy bars around this area and also star city is located here, which has more restaurants and a casino. They also have a wildlife centre around here, but to be honest if you want to see kangaroos and kualas in the there natural habitat, take a trip to featherdale wildlife park, which is in the suberbs of Sydney, here you can actually feed the kangaroos and stroke the kualas, rather than them being behind glass.

Other places recommened to visit while in Sydney are the Blue mountains, Sydney bridge climb, the opera house which also has lots of nice restaurants and bars. Bondi beach is breath taking, you can catch a train to bondi junction then get on a bus down to the beach, and if you get the chance visit manly beach,to get here you need to take a boat from circular quay, which is by the opera house, Manly beach is more laid back with lots more shops bars and restaurants.

An excellent hotel near Darling harbour. We stayed in the executive suites, where you had your own lounge and dining area, seperate from the rest of the hotel. All staff were very friendly. We arrived late on the first day and the evening meal had finished. however the staff organised free drinks and toasted sandwiches for us.

The room was excellent and service very good. Food was excellent, though cheaper to eat out in sydney then at the hotel. Outside pool and jacuzzi on the 10th floor with views of sydney. This is where the staff of singapore airlines stay. Reccommend it to eveyone.

We flew with BA to Australia. The service was fantastic, so much food and drink. When we arrived in Sydney it was about 5am and we had been travelling all night so we were all exhausted.

Upon arrival at our hotel we were greeted by the very unfriendly night manager. We asked if there was anywhere we could shower or sit quitely. He just laughed and suggested we went shopping for 4-5 hours while our room was made ready. I understand the hotel was very busy but I didnt feel his attitude was necessary. He was so rude and off hand. We were left in the hotel reception for 5 hours.Having just arrived from a Singapore hotel where the staff could not do enough for us so it was quite a shock to be treated like this. When we eventually got in our rooms they were adequate and clean.

We had already pre-booked our trips in the UK so the next morning we went on a full sydney tour, our coach driver was lovely and he really made the trip.We went to Manly and Bondi Beach, and all the other famous sites. The second day in Sydney was spent in the Blue Mountains and Wildlife Park. This was breathtaking.Such a beautiful place. Day three was the Sydney Harbour Luncheon Cruise. We all loved this trip. The food was fantastic, especially if you like seafood. The staff were all lovely on the boat infact everywhere we went in Sydney everyone was friendly, helpful and just lovely. Its just a shame that the first person we met in Sydney was the rude hotel Manager!

The weather in October was really chilli and extremely windy. We spent the whole 4 days in sweatshirts and coats. If you go to the Blue Mountains remember it is several degrees cooler up there. While we were there it was freezing.

The hotel was in China town on Pitt Street and was in not a particular nice area, the hotel was very scruffy needed refurbishment, the cold water tended to just stop mid shower, we heard of people getting scalded. The breakfast was catering for the koreans that were staying there as they were in the majority, so we had stirred fried vegatables and noodles, there was other dishes there but they were not a very good quality. There was a very good Italian Resturant 2 blocks away also on Pitt Street called Macchiato which is worth a visit very friendly and good quaility food
