"A city to match any other"
Overall Resort Rating:
An incredible city, for a nation so young there is no shortage of history. I never believed a lump of metal could raise the hairs on my arms but the Harbour Bridge did that. Equally as impressive is the Opera House. We enjoyed a long walk from the hotel through the stunning Hyde Park where we enjoyed a fantastic breakfast in one of the many cafes. From there a visit to the Hyde Park Barracks Museum and a sobering history lesson of Australian forced immigration. From there to the harbour and a ferry to Sydney Zoo. Admitedly the animals looked somewhat 'tired' but it was novel to see our first ever live kangaroo, yes we found Skippy. We returned on the ferry and enjoyed lunch at Darling Harbour. The shops in Sydney are like any other city but the people are friendly, the sun shines and my only wish is they move the country a little closer to the UK, as one T shirt said, Australa, its a bloody long way. True but worth the journey.

Overall Resort Rating:
Sydney is a great city with food and stuff generally cheaper than the UK, so it is great if you like shopping. You will find a lot of exotic fruits in the market and it is worth a try. Do not forget to visit the famous Taronga Zoo.

"Finding 3-Stars Sydney hotels Urgently!!"
Overall Resort Rating:
I had a Business meeting in Sydney last Monday, it just happened suddenly when I got a call from my client in Sydney. There were no hotels rooms available as told to me by my travel agent. I was much tensed what to do, then one of my employee suggested me to search on the internet.
I started searching on the internet for 3-stars Sydney hotels then I found a website minimaxhotels.com that provide cheap rooms at 3-Star hotels in Sydney. The website was really helpful for me to book my rooms within a minute.
I booked my hotel at The Rocks, 75 Harrington Street which is just 10 minutes where I had fixed my meeting. It costs me around $74 that is not so much costly I would have thought.
Now I am back from Sydney with handful of new deals for my business. Special thanks to minimaxhotels.com that help me out otherwise it would not be possible for me attend that meeting. I would suggest you all the readers to visit this website if you are planning for any kind of tour.

"Splendid Sydney"
Overall Resort Rating:
I'd always loved the idea of going to Sydney but the distance had put me off. However, my partner had been before and soon persuaded me it was exactly my kind of place and she was spot on! If you like gorgeous weather, friendly people, a relaxed environment, loads to do, great food and drink, as many shops as you could need and a fabulous range of sights to see, Sydney is your kind of place too. With the relatively compact nature of the main centre, most things are within easy reach but there are also some fantastic places to visit if you hire a car or hop on a bus or train. We were there in January so it was beautifully hot but I'd be happy to go back any time of year. If, like me, you're not sure about travelling that distance, take a chance - it's an amazing place!

"Sydney"
Overall Resort Rating:
Sydney is an amazing place, from the locals sitting in bars to stunning views of the Opera house, this city has everything. The Opera house is obviously the main attraction and will certainly not disappoint especially at night. The Tour is also very good. Sydney sky tower is worth a visit as it offers breathtaking view out across the harbour and of the rest of Sydney. There are so many restaurants and bars to choose from, you won't be disappointed. The shopping is also very good with a great range of shops down the streets. The Rocks is a quirky fun place, with lots of old buildings and shops, and the market is very good. The Paddy's market is worth a visit and is very good for your souvenirs! The parks are enjoyable for a picnic on a sunny day. Bondi is only a short bus trip away and is worth a visit. Taronga Zoo and Manly are easily accessible by ferry and are well worth it, the zoo is excellent wit great views of Sydney and Manly is like a English seaside town(but with Sun!) Overall I loved it and would definitely go back!

"a great place to visit"
Overall Resort Rating:
Easy walking distance to almost anywhere in the CBD including The Rocks, Darling Harbour and Circular Quay. Rooms are good, comfortable and up to Westin standards, staff are courteous, helpful and friendly. The restaurant breakfast buffet is one of the best hotel breakfasts I have experienced, good quality food, fresh and well presented. Stay here if you want a central location with good standards of accommodation and service.

"Lovely city"
Overall Resort Rating:
We were only in Sydney a few days (arrived on Australia Day and joined the celebrations by the harbour) Shopping was good and we enjoyed the Captain Cook Golden Dinner Cruise - champagne and canapes followed by a 7 course meal with wine whilst having the opportunity to photograph the opera house and harbour bridge from various view points.

"A truly cultured city"
Overall Resort Rating:
For visitors on vacation, a 10 minute walk to Darling Harbour to sample the delightful cuisine on offer at a waterside restaurant is a must. The Meat & Wine Co. beside the IMAX cinema serves excellect food. 10 minutes walk in the opposite direction will take you to the Sydney Opera House at Circular Quay for a cultured evening.
A short walk up George Street to the Queen Victoria Building is a must for a little retail therapy. The jewels in Pandora are set in a beautiful backdrop in this magnificent building. The Versace Collections are also not out of place. Designer boutiques are in abundance too.
