The meals were very good. Breakfast was a good varied buffet with also cooked bacon and eggs etc to order. In the afternoon you could have coffee etc and cakes and the evening meals were good and varied.
You made your own packed lunch from anything from the breakfast buffet.
The swimming pool although small was lovely and clean and ideal after a days walking.
Neustift is self is a beautiful place with plenty to do,We will definately go back
Just a word on Inghams, as usual they are a good company to travel with.
Flew from Edinburgh to Innsbruck - pleasant flight with Lauda Air, hot lunch served. Good departure from airport only twenty minutes after arrival although the very small baggage hall was pretty chaotic.

Neustift is only twenty minutes or so from the airport and is in the Stubai valley with excellent opportunities for walking to suit all, and I mean all, abilities and levels of fitness. Some excellent mountain huts and farms for cheap and wholesome lunches.
The village is very much a working village, although gearing itself up for the winter season, which apparently is much busier than the summer. Not alot of tourist oriented facilitiesInghams organise excursions each day, but the only one we did, to Lake Garda, was, because of the lateness of the season, an amalgamation of what would have been individual excursions from as far away as Kitsbuhel - fortunate for us, not so for many others. The excursion itself was a bit disappointing - not the best of courier services and heavily recommended places to eat which obviously paid the courier accordingly. Riva was great for leather goods.
The hotel is one of the best we have stayed at in Austria - a very big south facing room, enormous bed, easy chairs, sofa and a balcony looking south and west to the Stubai glacier beyond the village. A large bathroom with a walk in shower as well as a bath, and a separate WC. A very well appointed leisure suite provided a reasonably sized swimming pool, saunas, steam room and solarium. Massages and beauty treatments can be booked. Adequate grounds afford the opportunity to sunbathe. Food was very good - a large and varied buffet breakfast and eggs cooked to order if you wish. Afternoon tea and cake are complimentary and the evening meal stretched to six courses if you could manage it. Soft drinks are free.
Highly recommended.
