Seefeld is conveniently located if you fly into Innsbruck from the UK - only a 40 minute transfer which is pretty good by Alpine standards. It's a nice small town with a good few shops, bars, restaurants, cafes etc. There's a railway station with easy links to Innsbruck if you fancy going there for the day. Usual range of lifts up the surrounding peaks. Nice lake on the outskirts of town if you want some more gentle exercise than trekking up mountains. Resort seemed to cater largely for middle aged visitors but was big enough to have some facilities for all. Mixed nationality visitors from all over Europe.
The Tummlerhof Hotel is fantastic. It's situated a little way out of the main town but only a ten minute walk from the centre. The staff are amazing and can't do enough for you. Quality of food and drink in the hotel is first class. I had a single room which was very spacious and luxurious. The hotel has a range of leisure facilities including pools, saunas, gym, landscaped gardens. There is also a spa and beauty salon. If this hotel were in the UK it would definitely be rated as 5 star.
Travelled with Inghams who were, as usual, efficient but unobtrusive.
