A clean well maintained small city with lots to see and do. No buildings / monuments that really stand out but the whole of the city is of great architectual and historical interest. No football shirt crowds, obese, tatood or drunks to be seen. A safe envir...

A clean well maintained small city with lots to see and do. No buildings / monuments that really stand out but the whole of the city is of great architectual and historical interest. No football shirt crowds, obese, tatood or drunks to be seen. A safe environment with locals of all ages going about their businesses. No road rage driving and no blaring of emergency vehicle klaxons.

Beautiful place where the local authority excels in ensuring it is kept that way. Minimum street furniture, road signs/markings. Satelite dishes not allowed. Looks much the same as it did in 16th century. Highly recommended. Go.

Beautiful place where the local authority excels in ensuring it is kept that way. Minimum street furniture, road signs/markings. Satelite dishes not allowed. Looks much the same as it did in 16th century. Highly recommended. Go.

Beware of exhorbitant prices for eating out particularly around the Market Square. £5.00 for a coke and £6.50 for an Orange juice upsets the appetite. There are more reasonable eateries off the square.

OverallExcellent Hotel

You'll have no problems at all if you stay at this hotel. It is very well run and you would be hard pushed to find better and more centrally located accomodation.
