The resort in itself was a nice place to be. Alot of the things (bar crawls, and the night clubs) seem more aimed at a younger audience but there is plenty to see and do on and off the resort for anyone to enjoy there time over there.

ok for 18 to 30 not suitable for familys very good if your a pisshead .just dissapointed in firstchoice and will not be recomending first choice to my friend and family

The resort was also geared up for 18-25's only the party square reps pushed the clubs to all youngsters there was nothing there for older over 30's to do it was like Blackpool only bigger and full of tat.

Bulgarian food is amazing and the Bulgarians are lovely people, taxi drivers a pain in the neck also the restauranteurs pestered all the time

sunny beach is a lovely resort. Very easy to walk around, lot of shops the same but so is every holiday destination.

eating out is very reasonable if you do decide to venture away from hotel and there is plenty of variety.

we also took bus into old town nessebar, it was so busy as it only costs 50p per person!!! bit of a mad rush to get last bus from the old town but well worth the visit. again lots of market stalls and eateries.

The centre of Sunny Beach is very lively at night, so if you don't like loud music and noise don't go! watch out for the motorised scooters, they are quiet and you cannot hear them coming until they nearly run into you. Visit nearby Nessebar, take the bus, only 1Lev (50p) it is an experience, just when you think nobody else can fit on bus it picks up more passengers! bus picks up over the road from hotel and takes you right into Nessebar and turns round and comes back so cannot get lost, handy map on bus shelter telling you exactly what number bus to get. If you get the chance go on a Jeep safari and also take a visit to Khans tent, both excellent

The weather at the time of travelling in June / July was awful so if you are looking for a sunshine break then check the weather stats before booking!

Within the resort itself there was not much to do it is just beach and bars most of which were on the less luxurious side and all offered the same drinks and food. There are numerous tourist shops however once you have seen one you have seen them all! The Royal Sunny Beach Mall was a huge let down despite huge advertising posters around the resort as there were only a handful of shops and most of which were closed.

The neighbouring town of Nessebar was a much nicer find with cobbled streets and a castle and plenty of quaint shops, bars and restaurants.

It just felt that with Sunny Beach you had seen it all before and not it a good way! The site is overdeveloped and did not offer much in the way of charm.

yes there is fantastic night life but that is not what I was after. There is absolutely nothing for children to do other than it costs you a fortune on Bungees, shows etc. There is far too many different electrical things flying about the streets you take your life in your hands when you try and go for a walk, if its not the train, its bikes to motorbikes, to go kart and lots others!!!!! The beaches are clean but full of large stones that you have to try and manouvre over to get to the sea. The food is bearable and price wise ok.

Like the worst UK holiday resort probably 30 years go. So tacky, so unattractive. Beach could be quite nice if it didn't look like a building site. Tour guide warned at the 'welcome' party of being ripped off by: maids, taxi drivers, doctors, exchange offices, muggers - welcome to Sunny Beach. Pubs all the same, ok if you like parrot shows and Mr Ali Baba magic show - HELP!! Please don't go there. There were 4 of us (all female) in our party and we hated it. Met a young couple who were trying to get flight home as they couldn't stand it. At the airport, all the English were complaining and that included a lot of older people who had stayed in a 5* hotel.

Huge resort. Lots and Lots of bars restaraunts, Funfair rides in main centre, 24 hour resort, People friendly, Very cheap, Beach overcrowded

Nice resort, but if you are troubled in any way by walking or elderly. The pavements are a nightmare of missing flags broken pavementsand some of the curbs are higher than low garden walls. Not easy to negotiate if you have any problems walking. Change your location to Nessebar, which is about ten minutes further on by bus.

The location was beautiful and there were loads of things to do. The prices were reasonable and the food in the restaurants was very delicious. I cannot wait for our return trip there.

love the resort but wish the was not as many karoke bars lol some eveing shows would have been good but the shopping was very good
