Nice beach, lots of bars and restaurants, plenty to do. Would also recommend a visit to Nesse Bar to see the old side of Bulgaria and has lots of shops to visit. Found the drinks and food reasonably priced in Sunny Beach.

The location was beautiful and there were loads of things to do. The prices were reasonable and the food in the restaurants was very delicious. I cannot wait for our return trip there.

"good if you want a quieter holiday"
resort to a friend
A good quiet base to stay, plenty to see, safe to walk round at night, and there's a Noddy train which goes right round the resort for about £1

More by way of striking design lies within. Take the lobby. Awash with gleaming marble and espresso-leather armchairs, it’s finished with oyster-pink drapes and a grandfather clock. Even grander is the staircase that sweeps to the upper floors under elaborate chandeliers. The bedrooms, meanwhile, show a lighter touch. All peaches-and-cream elegance, they’re dressed with dainty off-white furniture and sofas. And everything is complemented by satellite TVs, minibars and balconies.

Brilliant place, we have already decided to return again next year. Loads to do, great markets, bars, restaurants and nightclubs. Kids are welcome everywhere. Pubs and restaurants are unbeleivably cheap and cater for most tastes. I'd recommend this resort to anyone. Families with young kids, teenage kids, grandkids!! Couples' singles and groups, there really is something for everyone!

Afternoon trip to the town of nessebar that left by boat from th hotels beach where you stay which is a wonderful day out. You could leave the children playin happily near by wether it was at th pool or the beach as evrything is so close and familiar. We would definateli be going back as soon as we can and couldnt possibly fault the place at all. You wuld have to be expecting a total haven paradise that was absoluteli perfection to not like this...yet i do feel this was near enough paradise for me. The beach was absoluteli beautiful the sea absoluteli beautiful and the surroundings the same. Lots of excursions available and reasonable priced aswell. As the resort was the hotels own they take alot of pride in tis appearence.

located at a town with many shops and terraces, but to reach the centre we had to go by bus (20 minutes). They were still building a lot there, so in 10 years there might be a big centre at Elenite. If we ever return there, then we'll stay at the centre of Sunny Beach, because then we can go to the boulevard. The rest was totally okay!!! Some things were a pity, but that didn't ruin our vacation though

Compact ski resort without any real charm. A real disappointment after skiing in Austria, but the attraction of this resort remains financial.

The surrounding area was a great area to go out in, with lots of shops, restaurants, bars and clubs to keep you entertained. The best bar was definitely Frankos right outside the Meridian, a lot of friendly people, great music and very cheap drinks prices (which is what you will find with a lot of the bars and clubs in Sunny Beach).

Slopes suitable for beginner/medium skiiers/snowboarders, but not many Black runs. Resort is good with several reasonably priced bars & restaurants. Really enjoyed my week's holiday!

A "must see" for any trip to Bulgaria is the Rila Monastery. Situated in the beautiful mountains of southwest Bulgaria, the Rila is the country's most visited tourist destination and a holy place for Bulgarians. Stepping into this ancient wooden Orthodox Church transports the visitor back into early Bulgarian history. The monastery was founded in the 10th century by Ivan Rilski (John of Rila) and the monastery has evolved through time to become one of Bulgaria's most treasured places. Still maintained today by Orthodox monks, the Rila Monastery is open to travelers who want to escape and find a place where the spiritual world brings peace and solitude. Beautiful, spiritual and amazing are just a few adjectives that describe the Rila Monastery...deep in the mountains of Bulgaria.
