This was one of the best holidays i have ever been on. The staff in the hotel were fantastic along with the very authentic food. The hotel owners were more than helpful to direct you to the best places for everything. The ppol was being built while staying there and looked like it would be fantastic. i Would suggest anyone to go to this hotel.

My girlfriend and I stayed at this hotel just after it opened in December 2007. The taverna was a traditional bulgarian style and while it catered the English tourists it was nice to see some locals enjoying the food (which is always a good sign!). The hotel is a small hotel and the owners were always willing to help. It was nice to be out of the tourist trap of Bansko (and the prices), but close enough to the ski-fields. Its about 10-15mins to the bottom of the Gondola and we got a ride there and back daily. Best to buy a weekly lift pass and make sure you return the plastic card for its refund. The hotel has a good selection of local wines and spirits...make sure you try the Rikia (fire water) which is garunteed to warm you up after a day on the slopes ;-)
