Visit Mama Mia on the beach the staff were nice and the food was good. Muppet bar was cheap for drinks and lively, be wary of the night clubs they aren't the friendliest of places. Most restaurants or bars share toilets which you have to pay between 20-40p for so always carry change. The resort is mostly aimed at older people but there are still some good places on party street for the younger ones!

OverallPoor Hotel

The hotel staff were rude and unwilling to help, speak little English and were at times aggressive. The food was recycled meal after meal so my advice would be to eat out in the resort as we and other guests had terrible guts for 2 weeks! The pool is in t...

Good thing about this holiday was the lack of looky looky men no one trying to get you to buy sunglasses necklaces and the like no one bothering you about time shares nor hounding you in shops you can actually walk along without being accosted. The beaches were a bit OTT on the umbrella and sun lounger front trying to find a spot not covered by the wandering guards of the two was fun to say the least limited areas to lay and enjoy the sun The holiday itself was great just go and relax and enjoy it.

The rock bar with Diane and Orpheus singing is the place to go if you like heavy rock music, its next to the indian restaurant, which is also very nice. There is a great turkish bar on the sea front with belly dancers [the husband seemed to enjoy them}. The prices have gone up quite a bit since last year but still cheaper than Europe. Our flights were changed from Varna to Bourgas If this happened again I would cancel the holiday, as the coach picked us up at 1am as there was another flight going out an hour before ours so they put all of us on the same coach. When we got to the airport check in wasnt even open and the main waiting area only has a roof and no walls, to say the least it was a bit chilly. still a great holiday.

"perfect holiday"

Only problem with Balken Holidays is they change the airport at the last moment which puts an extra 2 hours on your journey, and when you have young children it can be a bit trying.

OverallExcellent Hotel

Hotel was very good. Always clean bedding and towels. Food was very bland and made for the German taste. Hotel is good for families and very close to the beach.
