Accomodation was basic, but more than adequate for self catering, with dishwasher, fridge freezer, cooker, plus all household appliaces. Very spacious, with the most stunning views over the lake, with your own private dock to moor boats, fish off, or read on!A gas barbeque was provided, and was clean and ready to use.There was a jaccuzzi in the main bathroom, as well as a shower, and a small ensuite in the third bedroom.The only thing to let it down for us was the decor(very early 80's),but that is being picky, and our teens certainly didnt mind.
The boats,canoes and water sking/tubing are all included, and we all had a go on something everyday.........there are other things organised throughout the week, some free, like archery, others like horse riding, quad biking and the float plane all incurred a charge.
The highlights were the float plane(fits two thin uns' in the back.......it was a squeeze for us, but SO worth it!), the quad trail, and sunday brunch.it has to be seen to be believed!!!!!!!)
The staff, including the famous wilma could not do enough, including sorting out a huge problem when our adapted hire car didnt materialise(";stay where you are...we'll come and fetch you";).all this on their busiest change around day.
The resort was perfect for us after the hustle and bustle of Toronto.......I just wish my kids were young enough to join in with the water fights, campfirs and pirate treasure hunts.(curse you, Moody teens!)
