This hotel is gorgeous inside and the staff can't do enough to help you. The rooms are spacious and well kept. The bar restaurant meals are great although the other restaurant doesn't have a huge choice. But who cares, you're in Toronto! There's loads of restaurants downtown anyway. Ask for a view facing south and higher up the building to see across to the CN Tower and down to Nathan Phillips Square (partially blocked by the City Hall).
Must sees: CN Tower (day and night), Niagara Falls, Casa Loma, Blue Jays game at the Skydome plus a tour of how they made the retractable roof), Science Museum, Nathan Phillips Square (for a chill out afternoon), Toronto Islands.
Try going to the Loose Moose bar on Front Street if you want a laugh. East Side Marios (also on Front St) is an Italian/New York diner with fabulous food. Try the Nutty Chocolatier on Yonge for take-home gifts.
