We flew with Globespan club class. I don't know how they can survive the price was cheap when compared with the other carriers. The service in club was excellent, good food, unlimitted booze, wide leather seats, extra legroom, more recline on the seats, etc...
We flew with Globespan club class. I don't know how they can survive the price was cheap when compared with the other carriers. The service in club was excellent, good food, unlimitted booze, wide leather seats, extra legroom, more recline on the seats, etc, etc, and 40kg of luggage in the hold and 15Kg in the cabin.
2nd time in Canada, we will return.
Plan your trip to make best use of your time, Toronto is great its relaxed and informal, friendly and with lots to do in the day and at night. Its a safe city, as cities go, we walked all over at all times of the day and night. There is crime but this is in the suburbs away from the downtown area.
The delta chelsea is as good as a downtown hotel gets, room average but well fitted, maid service was excellent, even under the bed got a hoover. The hotel has all the facilities, check the website, eating in and other facilities are not cheap.
There are hundreds of places to eat, literally hundreds. The fishermans wharf is expensive, baton rouge was poor - meat had large amounts of fat, wine poor quality, etc. Every other place we eat at was reasonable and with choice good with good quality. Booze is not cheap. Steak and fish are good value and good quality.
In the ticket office in the square Younge / Dundas you can get discount tickets and good info on whats happening. WE saw lord of the rings musical and blueman group both excellent shows. Saw a Canadian football match, 1 hour of play spread over 3 1/2 hours this is a once in a lifetime event I don't think I could stand that much excitement again!!!!
Taxis appear cheap compared to UK, tram was worth a trip, underground was clean cheap and efficient.
The PATH the underground city is amazing packed in the day with hundreds of shops and cheap eating places. At night the path is empty just security guards and tourists. Get a map.
Walking around was easy as the city is based on grids and blocks, don't use yonge to get anywhere as its packed all day and most of the night.
We had 11 nights in Toronto we needed the break and took things really slow, you could do the main sights in 3 days but you'd be pushed to enjoy.
