Lovely resort, the beach was clean white sand and the sea was a beautiful colour, a real picture postcard image! It is a very relaxed place, lovely atmosphere!

Didn't leave the confines of the hotel that much, but it was a good resort. The beach is beautiful. Bought some really cheap things too. There are some really good bars.

We didn't really leave the hotel, and didn't need to as they had everything! The beach is very nice though, beautiful blue sea!

Lovely long beach for walking, gets quite a lot of seaweed. Super sunsets. Overpriced jet skis. Nice restaurant at the end of the beach but not cheap. Majority of people are on all inclusive. Beach is not safe for young children as there is quite a steep drop.

We didn't really leave the hotel, didn't need to. It had everything we needed. Did go to the Marley museum though, the locals are top!!!!!

The resort was kept clean - although a lot of building is still going on - The hotel food was fantastic the presentation was amazing and nothing too much problem for the bar/waiting staff. The entertainment was different every night - some shows better than other

Mule house is a little way from the main resort areas on St Kitts so I would recommend hiring a car (although the local buses - minivans- are an experience!). The main resort of Frigate Bay is lively and has plenty of activities e.g. sailing, windsurfing etc. An absolute must whilst on St. Kitts is a snorkelling trip, we went with Glen who runs Speedy and had a fantastic day. He kept us well supplied with soft drinks, and caribbean beer on the way back, took us to some great places where we saw all sorts of things including turtles and wrecks. The small resort of Turtle Beach is also well worth a visit, not the best beach but a great bar/restaurant serving fabulous food and cocktails. There is also a resident family of green vervet monkeys who may visit you and try to convince you to part with a slice of fruit. Whilst on St. Kitts my 'must do's' are: go up the volcano, drive around the island (only takes a couple of hours), have a meal at the Sprat Net (and get delicious homemade dessert from the cake shop opposite - you are allowed to take it into the restaurant to eat it), take the ferry to the sister island of Nevis, visit Brimstone Hill fortress. I would reccommend avoiding the centre of town when the cruise ships come in, likewise avoid the (very American-style) shops at the port, which are a trap for the cruise visitors - instead go into the 'real' Bassaterre, the local people are really friendly and helpful.

The hotel is on a remote part of the coast-line and there is very little close by apart from two neighbouring hotels a 10 minute walk away.

Unless you actually arrange a tour, or choose to venture out the locality of the hotel - you wont see Guardalavaca itself. So we cannot comment on Guardalavaca as a resort.

Lovely resort, it felt really safe!!!!! The beach is gorgeous, and they serve up great cocktails and fresh fruit cocktails, bright colours! Really loved it.

Not impressed with the town and some of the hotels and beach need a makeover. Put me in mind of butlins

Dickenson Bay, the resort for sandals has been voted the 4th best in the world, need i say more!! small place but lots to see and do, loads of watersports, restaurants and cafes, lovely views, best on the island.

Lovely holiday, apart from the fantastic beach and wonderful cocktails the Jamaican people are really lovely. We went on a tour, it was fantastic. Went to the Bob Marley museum, really recommend that. Lots of picture opportunities!

Fantastic. We have been to the Carribbean a few times, and this is definately my favourite so far. You must try the Cuban cocktails.

Varadero was really relaxing. There wasn't that much to do apart from the beach, however the trip to Havana was brilliant and must be done.

If you do leave the complex just be aware of the drivers on the road and the motor cyclists they are maniacs, we saw motorcycles with a driver two woman and one of them was holding a baby, it's unreal. Even on day trips sellers will try and crowd the bus for a sale.

When arriving at the airport men will ask if you're from Thmas cook / Thomson, they will then offer to take your luggage, they will then want a tip. This is the same on the way back they were trying to take suitcases out of your hands so they could carry them for a tip.
