I love my home but wish I could have reached Cuba - flight cancelled due to volcanic ash. Why waste your time & postage asking my opinion on a holiday you know you cancelled!!

The location was beautiful and there were loads of things to do. The prices were reasonable and the food in the restaurants was very delicious. I cannot wait for our return trip there.

An excellent resort, the beach is lovely with lots of water sports and what about the sea, clean warm water superb.

The resort is very peasant clean and well maintained, beautiful beaches. Primarily the whole area has been cleared of residents to make way for tourists, where the local people still leave they always have a friendly smile and wave. The town of Gaurdalavaca itself is quite small and basic, a few old cars from the fifties a couple of shops and a market. Because of the nature of the hotel complexes you don't really need to use the town.

this area was very good for beaches, culture was good as long as you travelled Holguin was interesting other areas to far to travel with children and costly Havana etc we didn't eat off of the complex, but visited the local market just up the road toiletries expensive gifts at a okay price.

As we spent the week in the hotel I can't really comment on other parts of the resort. The beach was beautiful and stretched a long way so you could go for lovely long walks in front of all the neighbouring hotels. There were a lot of water sports on offer and a few local shops on the beach which were difficult to walk past without being harassed to buy something.

Bavaro is really nice - sea is clear blue, so beautiful! There are a few shops and bars but most of the action happens in the hotel, especially if you are all inclusive.

We didnt really leave the hotel except for one evening we thought we would try the centre of playa dorada where there is about 10 hotels a golf course with clubhouse serving meals a pizza hut and some bars and restaurants. We went to the chineese restaurant in the resort but werent allowed in with my daughter whom is 15yrs old as you have to be 18 to get in found this a bit strange...so we ate at the golf club the meal was ok nothing fabulous.

Jamaica is packed with things to do. We would have found more to do if our representative had spent any real time with us. She even phoned through on a number of occasions to see if she had to come to the resort to see us. We made some complaints about the previously mentioned issues to her and received nothing back at all.

Not much outside the resort.... we did not go off resort except to the shops at the end of the beach

very nice has its own shopping centre with pizza hut, cinema and all sorts of other local shops. the bars just outside the hotel are open pretty much all night and aslong as your still buying drinks they seem to stay open for ever.

very good for shopping location lovely lively and exciting, people very friendly and accomadating. restaurants and bars galore,recommend it.

Just returned from a 10 day stay and couldnt be more happy with a holiday. It really is a lovely hotel in a beautiful beach location, the staff cant do enough for you, everything is clean and tidy, lovely gardens tended daily everybody seems committed to you having a great time. Lovely shallow beach cove for the children to play in the warm waters. And can I say to anyone going with thomas cook your rep patrick is fantastic he really is yeah man

The beech at the Sunspree is excellent,so no need to find another.We did eat out one evening in Mo Bay,but as excepted,expense,but worth it to,watching the Sun set of the sea.
