Bridgetown was a great resort, lovely white sand and clear blue sea, so relaxing!!!!!! Most of the time was spent around the hotel though, which was fantastic.

An all inclusive resort, hence the score for cost of food and drink. We stayed on a two for one basis, resulting in exceptional value. Perhaps not as good if we had paid full price. Very clean beaches and fresh coconut milk to go with the local rum!

St Peter is nice, safe to walk around and better than the ABV resort! We enjoyed the submarine trip and decided to go swimming with turtles which my son remembers over a year on!

Beaches can be hit and miss so be careful.

me and my partner both had our first holiday abroad in barbados in 2009 its was fantastic. we ahd a 2 week stay here, and at the time i was 5 months pregnant with my son. the hotel seemed like it was a lifetime away from the airport. we were met by virgin operaters at te airport who took us to our taxi.was ery nice looking at barbados(the torist route) but to be honest when youve just got off of a 8 hour flight the last thing you wanna do is then travl anoother 30-45 mins to your hotel.but i suppose their location cannot be helped.this was a self catering holiday but we managed really well once we worked out where the local supermarket was as at first we were buying from a service station which was very expensive.lots to do beautiful scenery well recommended. great for adults and teenagers maybe not so much to do for young children overall an amazing experiance would do again

I was looking forward to my trip into Holetown, to be honest there isn't very much there so don't expect a full day out. There is a well stocked supermarket which is good when you need to stock up as the food in the hotel is lacking something.

The beach is lovely, even the Catamaran trips all come and park offshore where the Turtles (and one stingray!) are which can be easily reached by swimming. There are also lots of local water sports you can use, Jet Skis (about £40 per half hour), sailing boats, canoes and donuts! The hotel provides sunbeds etc for the beach and the grassed area by the wonderful Mahogany Tree. If you would like to eat out it is not cheap! A pizza and beer/wine is about £15 to £20 each. There is a little entertainment two nights a week. We would gladly return, only downside is the 8 hour flight. If you get the chance go to Harrisons Cave and the Wildlife Garden (Monkeys, Tortoises and mini Deer roam freely) The local buses are good value only $1.50 each per journey, but the Yellow ones are an experience!

This resort is gorgeous - in fact the whole island of Barbados is lovely. Come to St Lawrence gap for drinks and dinner and fun times. The fish market is an amazing place to eat - pick your victim and see it cooked in front of you!

A great part of the island to stay at with lovely beaches and all the conveniences and amenities you'd expect. We spent most of our time at the hotel beach as we were really just there to relax but there's no shortage of things to do in the resort.

Beautiful clean white sandy beach with many kiosks to purchase drinks,food and gifts to take home ,plenty of parking and a taxi rank.two minute walk to supermarkets and restaurants,on the main south coast road so on the bus route as well.

The whole resort is beautiful,the beach has powder soft pink sand the sea is a little to choppy for me ,however a short drive and you can be on the south or west coast. The rooms and the views from the room are amazing,comfy four poster beds full kitchens and a jacuzzi in the bathroom .The bar has nightly entertainment some nights better than others.The restaurants are very good value and the pool bar is good for a snack at lunch time . The pools,the beach and the friendly staff at this resort make for a great holiday ,nothing better than a moonlight swim at the end of the day.

Not much to do....very little there. Supermarket well stocked. Small local shopping centre saves you having to go into Bridgetown. cinema complex was being built so should be finish soon. I won't be going back to see the finished result that's for sure.

The location was beautiful and there were loads of things to do. The prices were reasonable and the food in the restaurants was very delicious. I cannot wait for our return trip there.

good for 'chilling' on the beach, but not so great for party animals. beaches are nice, but the odd person trying to sell you things or rides on jet skiis or boats as is usual from any carribean beach, but very friendly all round.

lovely and quiet with dramatic views and windswept seas, great ti get aay from the busy resorts of the south coast

St Lawrence is a great location for couples families + young peopl in general! Excellent range of restaurants + night life! plenty to see + do!
