This resort is so good, the England cricket team were staying here at the same time as us! Excellent facilities and beautiful clean beach and waters. Staff were accomodating and very helpful. Air conditioning was a little noisy. Entertainment was limited, although we did stay out of season. Lovely little market on site twice a week selling locally made products. Daily shuttle bus to Bridgetown (although I can't say I enjoyed the Town at all!)

Having never been to Barbados before, I wasn't sure what to expect. However, from the time we first arrived at reception until the moment we left for the trip home, we had such a pleasant and relaxing time that we'll definitely be back. The staff were always friends and helpful, the room was spacious and airy, both the pools and the beach had plenty of space and the restaurants and bars were well managed and very pleasant to be in. All in all, I'd thoroughly recommend the hotel to anyone.

We had a most fantastic time at the Casuarina Beach Hotel. The staff were polite, professional and friendly, the room was large, contemporary, with a very comfy big bed. Food and drinks were of a very good standard, with lots of choice. Located right on the beach with plenty of sunbeds.

Rated as 4* Caribbean, but not the same standard as 4* European or Mexican resorts I have stayed at.

Good all round hotel. Very nice setting on beautiful beach and seeing turtles hatch was a bonus.

"Lovely Stay at the Casuarina"

Lovely Hotel, but not 4* in my opinion. The hotel has a new seafront building, which is beautiful and all other appartments have been refurbished. We ( 2 adult and a 7 and 3 year old) stayed in a refurbished room in Dec'08 and it was very comfortable, with new large flat screen TV, air-con tea/coffee making, bath, shower, double bed and sofa bed. The let down was that there was no fridge in the room. The rooms were just not finished off to 4* spec. However, both pools were fab and plenty of loungers and loads of loungers on beach. Sadly when we went there were only about 6 parasols on the resort and so not so good, especially with youngsters. Food was really nice and we mixed it up with A La Carte some evenings and hot buffet on others. Afternoon tea and scones had to be done and plenty of choice of drinks and cocktails available most of the day and night if required. What really made the resort was the setting. You walk from the main appartments,by the kiddies pool, under the new seafront complex, over the bridge on the main pool, by the pool bar and then straight onto the most beautiful palm-lined white sand beach. Sea was usually quite rough and large waves. But still went out on the Hobycat a few times and did some canoing. Lovely island and lovely weather in Dec'08 - around 85 to 90 F. Helicopter trip around the island was amazing and must also recommend catamarran trip and swimming with Giant Turtles. Good value for money and great experience and lovely locals. Would only say that for same money we got a lot better Hotel on Mayan Riviera in Mexica the year before - but beach and seting wasn't as good in Mexico would recommend for couples and families alike We don't use kids clubs, but we had a look at the one here and staff were lovely and fantastic schedule of stuff for little ones to do every day - but probably not teenagers as little to do
