Taratola review
"Tortola British virgin islands"
resort to a friend
Tortola and long bay resort were excellent, there is not a lot to do apart from relax, long bay is a long beautiful beach. we did 2 trips whilst there, a day trip to the capital Roadtown which is nice to see a bit of the island, pay a visit to Pussers shop and pub, we had a meal and it was very good. for the second trip we hoped on a ferry to the us virgin islands to St Thomas to do a bit of shopping, jewelery was a very good buy as it catered a lot for the cruise ships. On our last day we caught a taxi to smugglers cove just a round the corner to do some snorkeling this again was well worth doing the bay is so clear and the fish so close, there is a woman there that will make you a great pina colada. We will definitely go back, our only regret is that we didn't get to see some of the other islands.
