Resort was disapointing as already mentioned above with the water being brown and beach not being great.

"A bit out of the way"
Overall Resort Rating:
This is a newer area in the Dominican Republic for British tourists. It is a quiet resort with not much near by. Most of the tourist amenities are in the hotel grounds. It is expected to expand in the next few years according to the local guides. The good bit just now is you do get to see the more authentic DR people rather than the 'tourist trap' authentic village.

"NOT GOOD"

Only drove through but would not visit.LOOKS VERY POOR.We only went for a relaxing week all inclusive in the hotel.

Really liked La Romana. Thee beach was beautiful, lovely white sand. There wasn't a great amount to do at night though, luckily the hotel had that one covered.
