beaches were dirty you are unable to leave the hotel grounds due to harassment I have visited Jamaica before we went to Negril which is far nicer by comparison

Overall Resort Rating:
40 minutes from montego bay; quiet area; nothing to do in lucea for tourists; Montego bay in taxi is around $100 dollars round trip which is pretty expensie for a couple. If you are brave enough take the local bus for 70P = 100 jamaican dollars. Local staff are very nice. Beach etc is nice

we were all inclusive so only saw montego bay town breifley. montego town is dirty and smelly. you dont get much hassle but would not reccomend going out the complex at night

Everything here costs.be prepared to pay everyone for everything.5 packets of crisps i was charged $25 for...and was consistantly and deliberately short changed/overcharged.It got very tedious.Dolphin cove would have been lovely if it wasnt for the ban on cameras-im sure you can guess why....$70 for a disc of 8-10 photos..or $20/print...great value???!not.If you dont mind being ripped off left right and centre,enjoy....

Apart from Negril and Ocho Rios I personally love going to Montego bay. The people in Mobay are warm and friendly and there is a lot of things to do, attractions, sightseeing, beaches, restaurants, shopping and just chilling out places.

"Great hotel"
Overall Resort Rating:
The only trip we did was the luminescent lagoon where the water glows blue when you move the water. We did this trip in the evening when it was dark so you get the full effect of the glowing water and I would recommend this trip to anyone.

great location, near shops and new shopping centre. local taxi only 10 dollars and they are happy to wair around for you while you finish your shopping. Also great supermarket and pharmacy 3 minute drive away the the New whitter shopping great for snacks drinks etc.

Overall Resort Rating:
Montego bay is good for it's beaches which are clean and have lovely sand. There is no real entertainment going on outside of your hotel unless you fancy going out with the locals to there bars of which there are not really many. If you like gift shops then your ok as you can get some good bargains. I wouldn't really recommend eating out unless you fancy somewhere that looks like a tin shack or KFC. The people in are however very friendly.
