We visited Sandals Inn Jamaica from July 30th-August 14th 2005. Overall we had a fantastic time however this was mainly due to the 'stay at 1 play at 6' advantage meaning you can visit the other Sandals and use thier facilities for free.

I would firmly reccomend Sandals Inn as it's the cheapest and you still get the benefits of the other resorts, however don't expect too much as its by far the 'worst' Sandals resort on the island, it's a bit shabby and the rooms could do with modernisation. We had a grand deluxe ocean view room which meant we had fantastic views of the beach and sunset however i heard that the standard rooms weren't as good. The Room service is EXCELLENT you can order anything anytime of the day and the staff are very friendly more so than the other resorts as the Sandals in is quite small so you tend to see the same people everyday.

The bar grill at the Inn is lovely but don't go near the restaurant on an evening the food is AWFUL!. As there is a free bus shuttle to the other Sandels we ate at Montego Bay and The Royal Carribean which both serve fab food.

During the day the main place to be is Sandals Montego Bay which has everything and can either be lively or quiet depending where you choose your sunbed. We learnt to Scuba Dive with 'Big D' and it was a must if you've ever wanted to try it. We went for a visit to the Sandals Whitehouse for the day my advice don't do it there is nothing there.

This is the best holiday we've ever been on but my advice don't expect too much from the Inn there is more to offer in the other resorts.

This was our first Sandals holiday and also our first visit to Jamaica.

The accommodation was pretty basic but the friendly staff (particularly Ormal, Richard, Nicholas and beauty treatment girl(sorry can't remember her name) and other guests more than made up for this. We visited the other two resorts to eat and to use their beaches (which were beautiful) but we were always glad to get back to Sandals Inn where the staff would have your drink waiting for you at the bar and knew you by name plus the entertainment at the other resorts was just awful.

Sandals Inn is small with only 53 rooms making it very relaxing and you have use of the facilities at the other resort without paying their expensive prices.

Go to Margaritavilla along the Hip Strip it was a great night out as well as making a good day out with it's water slide into the sea and water trampolines.

Tip: Just outside the hotel sits a glass bottom boat (oweners name is Arriba). He took a group of us out snorkling with all the equipment and lesson for $10 each and the water is so much clearer than along at Montego Bay without the hassle of booking. We had had such a great time we went twice.

Would we go back to Sandals, probably not as from what I've seen the bigger Sandals don't live up to their own hype. And don't believe the brochures hyped up dress code, some of the resturants do require long trousers or collered shirt but most people particularly the americans walked about in short and t-shirts all the time.
