"Hotel Ambassadeur"
Overall Hotel Rating:
This hotel is tired and worn, and in desperate need of refurbishment. Beachfront rooms (at a supplement of £8 per night ) are very noisy, as they are directly above the Bar. Rooms clean, but furniture old and scratched. No heating, as the radiator was not working, no music, as the wall-mounted radio did not work, and a steamed up shower room, because the extraction fan did not work. Woken up very early each morning by the cleaning staff, who kept their supplies in a room directly opposite us in Room 106. (Avoid! ) Food is very good and the serving staff are excellent. Unfortunately, the Reception Manager, (goatee-bearded gentleman ) was dour and very unhelpful. The swimming pool was locked when we were there in October. Could'nt wait to get home.

"Ambassadeur Hotel review"
Overall Hotel Rating:
Ambassadeur hotel in Jersey is good value for money and when we stayed in 2006 found everthing was excellent the staff the decor and cleanliness of this hotel and the variety of food and drink in restaurant/bar/cafeteria etc. We felt it was very close to beach church shops and Grouville Bay and had entertainment in hotel and large heated swimming pool ground floor and upper floor clean tidy comfy bedrooms with lifts available and had television, telephone tea coffee tray in our rooms with comfortable beds to sleep in and large carpark too.
Everyone here had a friendly pleasant attitude and we had a very pleasant stay and enjoyed visiting other parts of jersey which could be reached by nearby bus or you could walk which we often did visiting the beach/coast or countryside cliffs and often sampled delicious crab sandwiches and other seafood including lobster but found the place very popular and busy as expected during the high season and will be returning to Ambassadeur hotel in St Clement/St Helier area of Jersey channel islands
