We were pleasantly surprised by the apartments. We had a spacious 3-bedroom apartment with a larger than average balcony (based on previous holidays' experiences). The rooms are kitted out just like any package holiday apartment, but comfortable enough. Although we didn't need it, think the air con is free. The pony club trip is great and free. The rep at the kids' club was great. Our balcony overlooked the splash pool which we were told is new this year and it is a fantastic addition. It's on the Mestral side of the apartments. If you have small children (6 months to around 7 or 8) they will love this new pool. It's about shin-deep at its maximum depth (if you are an adult) and has in total 3 water slides, 2 of which are double slides. There's a waterfall palm tree and a couple of other squirty bits. The biggest slide periodically tips water from a bucket above it down the slide which the older kids loved. That's a little noisy but it's only operated outside "siesta" hours so isn't too bad.
