booked this 1 bed studio croatia,island of brac,resort Bol.About 15 mins walk from Zlatni Rat beach.I went into a thompsons travel shop and booked this Holiday which was with Balkan Holidays.
The ap[artment classed as 2 star plus was simple with a very basic ";kitchen";-2 ring hob, sink,half sixed draining board,no preparation surfaces apart fron tiny draining board and nowhere to store food as cupboards were filled with plates etc and about 7 pans(guess they were only trying to help but there were only 2 of us) that said there was a newish shower room (tray and curtain as is customary) and water emersion heater that had just about enough for 2 showers if you didnt waste too much time)Lucky to have a tv which another couple didnt have but recommend you dont leave under 18 s in charge of it ad subject matter can be x rated.

Apartment was very clean and cost us about £350 each 1 week for package including flight and ferry crossing which i preferred not to do myself after reading some of the comments on the Ferry Company.I was disappointed that Balkan did not give us the contact details for a rep,but vaguely described the direction of the agent we could get our passports back from-we did it ourselves and did not have any welcome ";speech"; and met her only as she picked us up from the airport.as we had no problems while there it was fine-but i would probably not go with Balkan again-thjey seemed rather haphazard ie laid back.Our flight was changed to a later one-we only found out by chance the day before-they would just have kept us in the dark till last moment.

croatia was stunning,people friendly but not too friendly food mostly cheap.
