Hotel Palace Bellevue Reviews

We origianlly started our holiday in Slovenia at Lake Bled(more on that elsewhere). Arrived at Hotel to find we must have the smallest room in the hotel and that it overlooks the bus station. Phoned the reps number and reported it, he immediately came and got us moved to a larger room on the opposite side of the hotel. The service and the food at the hotel were poor. Other than that the holiday was good.

Lots of trips to take, we took an excursion to Plitvice Lakes, absolutely beautiful, really awesome. Caught a local bus, no problems and fairly cheap, to Pula,another good day out and another bus to Trieste,Italy yet another really enjoyable day. No hassle cathing buses eveyone was really helpful and friendly. We also had an excursion to the island of Krk (pronounced Kirk, a beautiful island and lots to see and do, there was wine and cheese tasting, which was fun (watch the home made brandy!!!!!).

Our only other problem was the morning of our departure. We had booked an early morning call for 3.30am, which we didn't get, when our transport arrived at 4am they were told we were not in the hotel it then took about 45mins before anyone phone our room and we finally left about 5am. We arrived at the airport just in time to see our flight taking off. The rep at the hotel was very good and found a few alternative flights home but we ended up going to Manchester and then getting back to Gatwick with the help of my brother who drove up from Southend. finally arriveing home at 9pm instead of 1pm.
