The walk into Roving is very pleasant and takes less than 15 minutes-on leaving the hotel and walking to sea the town appears in front of you-it is truly memorable and we didnt get fed up with walking to Rovinj daily-excellent resteraunts offering fish and pizza/pasta dshes-local beer is excellent-all in all a beautiful resort with fine views-good walks and a wide range of eating places-try the Veli Joze near church-steak nd wine for 2 with starters about £20.

Flew from Doncaster airport, 2 hrs flight, 45 mins to Rovinj. What a wonderful resort, very pretty, clean, no hassle whatsover from anyone wanting you to buy from them or go into their restaurants. Tiny backstreets lined with cafe's and restaurants, a marina, cycle tracks through the forest that hug the coastline.
Hotel Eden is wonderful, spotlessly clean, has been recently refurbished, new bathrooms, carpets. Beautiful grounds to sunbathe in, exceptionally well kept.
Not much for children in the resort although the Hotel did have limited entertainment.
Will definately return to Rovinj.
This was our first visit to Croatia but not our last. Beautiful coastline with clear, calm sea and sunny weather.
We travelled from Manchester Airport with Croatian Airlines. - excellent flight both outward and return.

HOTEL EDEN is a large hotel set in it's own gounds and away from traffic noise.
Large outdoor swimming pool with ample good quality sun loungers. Rooms are good size and kept very clean.
Food was buffet style and 'international' Some dishes were cooked fresh at the buffet e.g. mussels and fried eggs at breakfast. Plenty of choice. The chef made an individual tossed salad in the evening. Drinks in the hotel are, in my opinion, expensive. However, ROVINJ is only a short, pleasant walk from the hotel.
The old town has a lot of atmosphere with many bars, cafe's and street entertainment in the evening.
We will certainly return to Rovinj and the Hotel Eden.

Just returned from a fantastic holiday in Hotel Eden, Rovinj. Our first trip to Croatia but it won't be the last, we have already booked to go again next year to the same hotel.
Value for money on everything. The hotel management and personnel were brilliant, very helpful.
Went on few trips which were excellent. Went to Plitvicke Lakes, Lake Bled, Croatian Village Party and Water Rafting in Slovinia. All these trips are highly recommended.
Whilst there we had a birthday and after a hard day of water rafting returned to our hotel and room and on opening the door to the room there was a champagne bucket plus champagne,of course, courtesy of the manager. What an end to a perfect day.
We had'nt been to Croatia before but chose it because of the short flight, and as this was the first time we'd been away in school holidays, hoped it wouldn't be too hot or too busy. We were not dissappointed.

We had several half days of rain but mini club and indoor pool kept kids entertained.
Hotel Eden was very good, food good, rooms on the small side by the time the cot was in and the sofabed pulled out. Cleaning of rooms was daily and always fresh towels and frequent change of sheets. Balcony small and view of car park.
Plenty of sunbeds round the pool and in gardens, even in August didn't feel too busy. Pool is in a lovely setting surrounded by pine trees, the children's pool was perfect for our toddler, a good size and very shallow.
Rovinj is a very pretty, busy little town, and a pleasant walk along the seafront from the hotel.
Did a couple of boat trips. 20 kuna (£2) on the ferry to Red Island (kids free) was best value.
Hired a car one day and went to Pula as I wanted to see amphitheatre, very impressive Roman remains and a lovely town to visit, we all enjoyed it even the kids.
Croatia is not particularly cheap but ice cream cones from street kiosks are lovely and fantastic value.
We had a lovely holiday and would recommend both resort and hotel.
