Nissi Bay is a really nice beach, really sandy and a few good bars nearby. It is also really near to Ayia Napa though, so that is good to go to at night as its quite lively.

this was my first time at this resort it came reakonmended of my faimly it was a lovely place nice and relaxed just what ya need when your away

Right at the heart of Protaras and just a five-minute walk away from the famous Fig Tree Bay, the Alva Apartments are perfectly placed for exploring. Not only that, the friendly staff here are an mine of local knowledge and happy to give you the inside track on where to go. As for the property itself, it’s a contemporary whitewashed affair framed by greenery. Inside, things are pretty simple on the décor front but spacious and well looked-after. There’s a variety of apartment sizes on offer but, whichever you opt for, you’ll get a kitchenette and a pool-facing balcony or terrace.

Would suit couples and families. Loads of restaurants, bars and shops. Fig Tree Bay is ok but nothing to get too excited about, gets very busy and not much room to settle down on as covered in sunbeds and umberellas that they charge for the use of.

Wonderful resort suitable for families and couples. The sea is alive with water sports. There's a lovely walkway starting next to the Rising Star and going right along the coast, with a few bars/restaurants, to the next resort of Pernera . Zafeiro's Kiosk is the most popular - pop in and you'll find out why.Order a full English breakfast there, it's excellent (apart from the peculiar four slices of grilled cucumber they always serve.) Loved it!

Paphos is quite a good resort, it i reasonably lively so you don't get bored and there are a lot of bars, shops and restaurants. The beach is really nice. We like it there, and would definately return.

The is always things to do and places to see. I have been there now 4 times and love it more and more every time!!

There is loads to do you can either hire a car and travel around at the sights or you can walk down to the harbor there is plenty to do i always go for a week and find its not enough time to fit everything in!!!

I have been to protaras twenty times,never get fed up of it. Good bars,friendly people. Cant be beaten

Beautiful resort with one of the best beaches on the island! Plenty of bars and restaurants in town centre and a few towards the far end (near corralia beach.) Hotels offer dining too but they are expensive! Recommend the main beach with a very friendly beach bar, waitress service on the beach, and good varied music while you sunbaithe.

If you are looking for a holiday with cosy Cypriot taverna’s and good local speciality foods, go somewhere else! We chose the resort because the bulk of our wedding party were in their twenties and they loved it. I missed trying out traditional Cypriot food but we did have a great time. It is quite near Aya Napa which is just bedlam, but then I am the wrong side of fifty! I wouldn’t rush back there but I am sure most of our party probably would. One thing I would say if you are planning a wedding The Golden Coast wedding service and food was the best I have ever had. However, as a hotel they were hopeless at everything else so book the Chapel, and have your reception there but stay somewhere else (The Capo Bay if you can afford it!)

Ayia Napa is suiteable for all ages, the beaches are fantastic. But if yo don't want a lot of noise, book a quiet Hotel.

Dont goto the coral beach hotel is a french army camp beach ok cost of food not to bad some nice shops a bet hillie at times

A No 30 bus goes up and down all day for 1.50eu a trip. I think a car is essential to see the sights as the bus service out of the resort is poor. The old town is nice with a castle although the guide book says its free, its not costing 3.40eu to get in. If yo take a taxi ride hold on tight..its better than the dodgems.

Harbour area is lively, plenty shops and bars. Always busy day and night. Drinks are approx 4 euros for a large local beer. Plenty taxi's and buses.
