If you have a chance to change your hotel from Napa Plaza I would we have just returned from a two week stay and we feel like we need another holiday to get over this one. In two weeks we had two nights sleep while we was going to bed around 1am the young ones where getting ready to go out so we had shouting lound music banging of doors then at around 5 or 6am when they returned they banged on everyones doors on the way to their rooms. We witnessed two youths urinating in the pool early one morning and a couple having sex in the pool. This was our second visit to Napa Plaza the first time been great but we will never be returning while the let single lads and lasses stay we felt we had been on a 18-30 holiday.

The hotel was in an excellent location, 2 mins from the square, lots of great food places around the hotel. Clarabel's is not to be missed (straight across from the hotel) There is also a mexican restaurant attached to the hotel (you get a discount if you are stayin at Napa Plaza) The hotel itself is very trendy, it has a cocktail bar called peppers, normally very busy at night. They are also building a nightclub in the hotel. There is no noise from the square at night. We had a front room and we could hear alot of traffic as it is beside a main road which is busy at all times of the day. The rooms were spotless and comfortable, the superior rooms are alot nicer than the standard rooms and the superior rooms have a better view. Maid service every day - excellent!! Only made breakfast twice but it had a very good selection of stuff. Great service, staff very friendly and helpful. Really enjoyed my stay in Napa Plaza and would return to the hotel.
I thought Cyprus was quite expensive compared to other places ive been to, especially for alcohol. The food was excellent everywhere - great selection of places to choose from. Nightlife was excellent, great music - will be excellent in July - Aug. Nissy...

Returned to the napa plaza after a three year gap and found it to still be one of the best hotels in resort. clean, well maintained and friendly all aspects that were there when the hotel first opened. The pool area is nice and clean with plenty of beds and umbrellas and the pool is always kept in tip top condition. Hotels Pepper Bar is probably the coolest in resort. we did have a problem with the air conditioning in the room being very poor but after a few words with reception this was fixed the next day, and we had to turn it down after that. We are going to a wedding in cyprus next year and won t have any hesitation on booking up at the napa plaza again.
Ayia napa has got something for everyone, its moveing away from the mental booze fueled night life with new ultra modern bars and there has always been fantastic beaches and restaurants in the area.

This was our 2nd visit to the Napa Plaza Hotel. We will not be going a third time. We paid extra for a pool viem room and on arrival we were allocated an unrenovated room which did not have a pool view. Reception advised us that the hotel was fully booked and we could not reallocated. Miraculously, one hour later, after threatening to move hotels we were given an alternative room, though no apology was offered. I found the reception staff to be extremely unpleasant.
This hotel does not warrant 3.5 star. The current Falon 2008 brochure rates the hotel as 2 star, which is more accurate. The hotel was run down and shabby in the corridors, alhtough the housekeeping staff do a good job. The hotel is in an unbeatable location, if you dont mind being kept awake half the night by nosey parties on balconies and party animals shouting in the corridor at 5am!!!
The pool is excellent and the bar staff are brilliant. The pool bar food is over priced.
Eating out - Fiji, Sage, Clarabels ane El Chihuhua are a must. Avoid the chinese restaurants.
Pepper bar in the hotel is fantastic at night and the strawberry daquiris are to die for!!!! The Square Bar always has a great atmosphere and very good live music.
We love the resort of Ayia Napa and will without a doubt return next year. Though not to the Napa Plaza - definately not worth 900pounds each for 2weeks bed and breakfast!!!!!

We have just returned from Ayia Napa and the Napa Plaza Hotel. We all loved the hotel.
We had paid extra for the superior rooms with pool view and was really pleased with the rooms. The hotel is central, the square with all the bars and clubs is only just up the road, but you can't hear anything once in hotel. We didn't experience any noise from other holiday makers at hotel, but maybe that was just luck as obviously there were a lot of people coming in at all times. We found most staff to be very friendly and helpful, especially the reception staff and pool bar staff and as you can only go by your own experiences, we would love to go back to this hotel. However, personally, I would prefer to go at a quieter time of year as Ayia Napa was heaving with people to say the least. I found it a bit manic at first, but by end of week was used to it!
The restaurants we tried were mainly the ones reccommended by other people on this site and I have to say they were spot on with their comments. We ate at El Chihuahua, clarabels, fiji, sticky fingers (like ribshack), the italian restaurant think its called zizis, taste of india, all very good. My only complaint is that as resort so busy, you could wait quite a while for your food or just your bill when finished!! Try and eat earlier in eve rather than late when the restaurants get packed. We went to waterpark, great day and some of party did the quad bike excursion (off road, etc). They said it was great. The Pepper bar at hotel made my week, always finished up there! Loved the cocktails and music and the added bonus was that it was in your own hotel!!
There is something for everybody in Ayia Napa,if you walk down towards the harbour it's a bit quieter. It was extremely hot whilst we were there, 25 July - 1at Aug, which is another reason for trying a different time of year next time. Cyprus is hot anyway, without there being a heatwave!! I hope anybody about to visit this hotel has a great time as we all did. Enjoy!
