Nice resort close to beach........ with nice views Excellent food and service and playing area with indoor an outdoor games..

very good resort. easily accesscible. lot of things to see. The harbour is beautiful. Fort and the monastery worth a visit.

The area of Kyrenia is lovely, however it doesnt really have much going on. There is a shop in the harbour owned by a family that make 'trick boxes', this is a must visit! all the things are just amazing (cant remember the name unfortunately). Perfect for people who like historical days out or just the sheer piece and quiet that Northern Cyprus can offer.

Lots to do and see and very picturesque. Most places of interest are within close driving distance. People are very friendly and helpful.

There is so much for everyone in TRNC. Discover for yourself the delights here. The Lapida hotel has a comfortable bar and lounge area plus an indoor/outdoor dining area. There is a good sized swimming pool at the bottom of the garden. The rooms are basic but comfortable with an ensuite.

Brilliant place,Steeped in History plenty of very nice Restaurants doing a variation of quality foods from all over the world, a great place for Shopping for Gold and Jewellery, Local wares,Pottery, ice cream ect and a Fantastic little Harbour where you can sit and sup and watch the world go by

We loved Kyrenia. Very friendly, welcoming people. The food was lovely, and the scenery stunning. Wasn't as busy and hectic as other places we have been to, and we loved it.

Kyrenia and the surrounding areas are a hub of casinos, so brilliant if you like a flutter. Other than that, there wasn't too much to see really. However, if you have a car, it's worth driving to Lefkosia (Nicossia), and walking through from the Cypriot side to the Greek side - don't forget to bring your passports! Once there, the first thing you see is a big, fat MACDONALD'S. Very Westernised on the Greek side. Its much more authentic on the Cypriot side.

Highly recommended, great for families, couples and single travellers. Fantastic harbour, excellent restaurants.

The harbour has its attractions but is pricey. Prices are often now concealed and not advertised at the harbour. Niazzis, Ezics (3 of) are all good, with Padishah representing fantastic value for money. Altinkaya Fish restaurant at five mile beach is a great place for that special occasion meal with great food and service, sea views and ambience.

Kyrenia harbour is really lovely - lots of great restaurants - SET Fish being one of them. Five Mile restaurant about 5 minutes from the Holiday Village is lovely too - very quiet and the atmosphere it totally relaxed - we went back twice. Lots of casinos but they don't let you in wearing flipflops although trainers are OK. really nice Italian restaurant on the front and you can sit on the roof or the balcony so you can have a good view of all that's going on around you. Nice cheap carpark at the top of the town which only costs 2 lira for us to 8 hours so very reasonable. Few homeless dogs wondering around but they're harmless. A must visit is the Bellapais Abbey and the Bellapais Gardens hotel and restaurant. We had our best meal there and the ambience was second to none. It was so nice we are thinking of going back there in September to stay. Glapsides beach is stunning and we'd highly recommend this too - it was near Famagusta. driving around North Cyprus is great - they are all a bit mad out there and pull out in front of you all the time but there doesn't appear to be any real road rage. Lots of large supermarkets and on the way to the Holiday Village, there's one called Starlings which has a fantastic fresh fruit/veg stall which we'd recommend.

Kyrenia harbour is very nice, smaller than what I expected. Some nice bars & restaurants. No nice beaches in the area and the ones there were you had to pay 10 or 15 lira & were very noisey with music. We tried to look at one of them but could not see as there was fencing around it.

We only visited a couple of times. The castle and the oldest ship housed there is well worth a visit and allow plenty of time to do it. The are plenty of places to eat and drink and a reasonale selection of shops to look around. What is nice that it is not alot of touristy shops but you can still find tradional style gifts such as turkish delight and jewellery. It was also quite interesting to wander the streets with the mix of old and new.

This is not a town to do much shopping,no main shoping street,and in June they shut at 7pm. The harbour is the main drinking and eating area,where you can sit and watch the boats and there is a large castle at the far end. This is ok if you like local music,and relaxing.
