we could not fault the hotel or the hotel staff,who were very helpful. Every room appeared to have a sea view,and the rooms had two large double beds. we went with direct travler and they were first class. They have a very good swimming pool,but no one went on to the beach area which was just rocks and sea weed. On our visit in June 2009,a walk way had just been built out in to the sea,which took you out over the rocks,this was very good. On a bad point was the price of drinks from the hotel bars,£3.50 for a small bottle of beer or soft drink. The town was not too far away ,with a taxi ride about £4.00 each way.or a walk of about 40 min.

We flew from Exeter direct to Larnaca with Eurocypria.We had been told they were not very reliable but we took off early and arrived early.It was nice not having to go via Turkey. Met at Larnaca by a Merc people carrier we went through Nicosia customs with the driver doing all the paperwork. At the hotel we had 2 rooms with balconies overlooking the sea. As it was a 5 star hotel we went on an all inclusive basis. The hotel has only been open for a few months so is clean and shiny. Each room had twin 5 foot beds.The food was first class with a huge choice every meal. The staff were very attentive with most having a grasp of english.We hired a car so visited most of the north tourist spots. We had stayed at the Pia Bella before so knew our way around. The building work is gathering pace around the north so it is getting dusty and dirty . Coming back we were picked up again in a merc saloon with the driver doing the paperwork at customs but this time were searched for cigarettes. Larnaca airport was absolutely diabolical with Queues for different flights all mixed up so no one knew where to go.The flight back was a bit bumpy and late.
