This hotel has just been refurbished and offers an amazing range of activities. Very clean and freindly staff. Ideally situated just 200m from the beach(which is across a busy road)and bars and restaurants. the hotel itself is on a quieter road. It has four swimming pools, 1 adult only , 1 lagoon-style and 1 indoor with spa and facilities. There is a fitness centre and daily organised activities together with a full evening entertainment programme. Altho we didn't have kid we met people who did and they raved about the kid's facilities. Rooms are very comfortable with air conditioning , TV and min fridge.

the alantica gardens is part of the hotel they were clean and staff was friendly , the children club was for 2hrs and there wasnt much else for them to do other than swimming , my 13 yr old was bored. It seemed like we were holidaying on a building site, as work on surrounding buildings was going on ,

"Lovely hotel,shame about location"

Overall Hotel Rating:

Open quote

The hotel itself was lovely, staff very friendly and helpful and food was the best i have ever had at an all inclusive hotel. Kids entertainment good but adults really non existant unless you like bingo and play your cards right. Weather was lovely for beginning April - about 25 degrees and sunny. Only rained the day we came home. The rooms are lovely and the beds very comfortable.

"Best All-Inclusvie Package"

Overall Hotel Rating:

Excellent

Open quote

Best all inclusive package I have been on. The food was superb with excellent choices to suit all taste buds. Drinks brilliant and included lots of different cocktails at no extra charge. Fresh fruit served to your sunbed during the afternoon. Weekly bbq which was mouthwatering. Entertainment was good, a bit hit and miss but something for everyone. Shops and bars within walking distance but a cab to Limassol town was only about 10 euros and had lots to do and see there. Walking distance to a nice beach. Hotel rooms were great, can't fault the rooms, clean and spacious and modern with air conditioning. I have recommended this hotel to various friends and family and a group of 11 of us have just booked up for June 2010.

"Excellent Hotel, Average Location"

We stayed at the Hotel Atlantica Oasis in July 2009, the hotel pictures we saw in the brochure were pretty much spot on, the hotel was excellent it catered from young to old, with loads to do during the day and a variety of entertainment on the night. Me and my boyfriend (in our 20's) stayed on a half board basis the food was ok with a good selction. We couldn't really fault the hotel however there were constant noise from kids running around every where, its got to be said that its not a couples quiet hotel. You could also tell that it was an all inclusive hotel and was spot on for those people that wanted to do this, as drink and food prices were relitively expensive for us on a half board basis. Overall i would recommend this hotel but i would not return back to this resort.

dont be put off by any other review, the hotel was fantastic, the rooms lovely, pool great, and food the best ive eaten in a hotel.cannot fault anything about it. you must wear long trousers if male in the evening, we wasnt told this, you will have to sit on the terrace and eat if you dont have any, and not in the dinning room. We enjoyed being outside so this wasnt a problem, or many others although some for warning from travel company may of been good!

We had a brilliant week here on half board...The food was superb every day and loads of choice. Pool towels were a bit of a nuisance as not always available but that the only complaint.

"Second Visit - Fantastic!!"

Overall Hotel Rating:

Excellent

Open quote

This is the second time that we have visited the Atlantica Oasis (first time since it has been refurbished). What an absolutely fantastic time we had. We upgraded to a larger family room this time and had a kingsize four poster bed and were welcomed with fruit and wine, bathrobes and slippers. The room was an ideal size for a family of 4 with a small kitchenette area too. This however was one of the rooms which had not been upgraded but it was still lovely.

All inclusive was a Godsend also - it was very hot in September and it was great to go up and get juice/beer/ice cream when you felt like it. The kids were loving it.

This hotel is great for children and adults alike with great daily outdoor entertainment with the TMC team - Shane, Matt, Lara, Bex and Danielle. Take your pick from waterpolo, water volley, french boules, darts, archery - and, if you win, the highlight is collecting your certificate after the kids disco at night. What a laugh - thanks guys!

The food was great - good choices, separate kids menu, lots of salads and fruits and cracking desserts. Hard if your watching the figure! The only thing about dining in the restaurant in the evening is that men are requested to wear long trousers, no sports wear. However, this is not the case for the ladies - they can basically wear what they like - no matter how short or low cut! Men beware - if you turn up with shorts or short trousers on they will not seat you in the dining area but put you at tables outside (which was actually very nice).

We went the first two weeks in September and it was very hot and not too busy so sunbeds around the pool were easy to get. Apparently, in the height of summer they were restricting sun beds to one per family!

We met some lovely people there this year - Peter, Anne & Alan, Jamie, Dean, Sue, Thomas, Andrew & Charlie, Hannah & Robin and also Portia - will definitely be going back at some point.

"Excellent Hotel"

Overall Hotel Rating:

Excellent

The hotel was fabulous everything we could have asked for! When we booked we only did half board and upgraded when we arrived which came in very handy with 2 children. The pool areas were fabulous and catered very well for the youngsters. There was no worry in getting a sunbed even at 10am in the morning. The hotel entertainment (TMC Staff) were EXCELLENT they kept us going with games throughout the day and never complained if you didnt want to take part, which never happened because we participated in everything. The TMC staff were extremely good with my 4 yr old son where as the THOMSON REPS werent bothered but thats another story! Also my daughter turned 1 whilst we were away and the hotel gave her a birthday cake, fruit basket and a bottle of wine (for the parents) which was a nice suprise. The only downside was the size of the room we were in a none-refurbed room, it was clean and well maintained but the lack of wardrobe space was a problem with 2 adults and 2 kids but that really wasnt a problem. I cannot knock this hotel one bit and we have already booked for next year. Reading some of the reviews we had our concerns but once we got there they vanished. Excellent hotel, fabulous staff especially TMC reps, The food was very good even for the kids. Cant wait to return! A special shout out to Danielle, Matt, Shane & Lara for keeping us entertained for the whole fortnight!!!

"4 Star Hotel with 2 star Studios"

Overall Hotel Rating:

Poor

Open quote

We had been to this Hotel 3 years ago, self catering, as this year, Last time we were in a building overlooking the main hotel pool, and it was a very good holiday, so after seeing that the Hotel had gone extensive refurbishment to be given 4 star rating, we decided to go back. when we arrived we were escorted across the road to another block to book in, then out of that building and across another road to a building that according to the key fob, was the Royal Court Apartments, and also was used as the Moldovian Consulate building!!!.

The apartment/studio was very tired looking, tatty paintwork and carpet, drawers that did not want to slide, toilet cystem loose, flush handle was removable, shower that had a job to produce enough water to get very wet. No Balcony light, which was very annoying, when after been out for the evening, we enjoy sitting and clilling with a drink and playing cards etc.

The studios were in no way 4 star, maybe 2 star if lucky, we did complain on the day of arrival, but were told the hotel was full and we could not be moved.

Futunatly, we have been to Cyprus many times, so we accept what we get, and just enjoy the fantastic sunshine and the nice people, but we feel that if a family booked this hotel as their first holiday in Cyprus, I feel they would be very disapointed.

The hotel has also gone All Inclusive, and gives the feeling that if you are not AI, then you are not wanted in the bars etc, but the re-furbishment is very good, and the public areas are top class.

"Atlantica Oasis All Inc "

Overall Hotel Rating:

Hotel:- On first impression this is an impressive hotel, spacious lobby, helpful staff efficient check in. Room:- Our room was a corner family room in block 4 over looking the deep end of the pool, due to being corner we had 2 rooms with 2 single beds in one + a double in other. Both rooms were showing age and in need of upgrading ie carpet a bit marked and curtain clips broken but overall probably due to the amount of room we had impression of room was good. Bathroom was average size, and although we did have a disfunctional shower unit this was changed completely on 2nd day and was fine after. Pool:- Large freeform with 2.3mtr deep end, and a large ( but very busy and congested) shallower end of about 1.2 mtr depth, featuring water sprays and waterfall, a toddler pool and a small kids water activity area featuring a pirate ship, my kids didn't use this as it was mainly for smaller kids. Initially thought there were plenty of loungers but by third day if you wanted a pool side or kids pool area lounger you needed to be lay out towels by 6:30am, although if you were not fussy about location there was often a choice as late as 10:30 after breakfast. Food:- No complaints very good quality plenty available and plenty of choice, breakfast English and Continental until 9:30 English only after, cafe for cakes and drinks upto 12,( after 12 A/Incl customers could not get food here but main restaurant open at 12:30), lunch in main restaurant again no complaints you could have meat and veg or hotdogs, burgers etc, at 3:00 the outside bar started seving snacks hot and cold again quality good. Dinner from 7:30 good no complaints whole stay. Only gripe there need to be a few more staff during meal times sometimes waiting for drinks in rest. and food ordering at outside bar. Events:- the team there work hard to provide entertaining events during day in and out of pool, but at night they seem to be a little short of budget to bring in professionals some shows were good fun and enjoyable but a few were dire, it depends on your taste wether you like it, usual fare kids disco, bingo then show. Also sometimes they show a film outside at Zeta bar but this not advertised seems to be luck of draw if anything on except Cypriot football! Location:- a bit of a way out of town but No.30 bus will go to Old Town at €1.5/ea. single. Trips:- Fassouri water park very good plenty of shade and loungers good rides but flooring gets VERY HOT. Bird Park MISS IT,too far + crap

"Fun at the Oasis"

Overall Hotel Rating:

Very Good

Open quote

Both the exterior and interior of the hotel is lovely, spotlessly clean. The staff are helpful and friendly. The pools were lovely although you had to get up at 6.00am every morning to have your pick of sunbeds! The kids clubs are great and the entertainment for the kids is enough to keep them going but for us adults can get a bit boring. The food in the restuarant was excellent you could not complain about a single bit of it. The rooms are clean and a little bit more than basic but the balaconies are very tiny and you really cannot sit out on them. The location of the hotel was not brilliant, it was close to the beach but not to the town. I would definetely go back to this hotel if it was in a different location as Limassol is not really a resort holiday its a city and does not have the same holiday fell to it. But overall we had a fab holiday and were quite sad when we had to leave.

We would not rate this hotel 3 star not the 4 star on the entrance to the hotel. The hotel exterior and pool areas are excellent. The pirate ship and kids area is amazing for kids. The rooms are dated and the balcony very small. We thought the electric switch in the bathroom tiles above the bath and in line of the shower dangerous. The tiling under the basin was missing. The beds were torn on the base and had saggy stained matresses. A 4 star hotel should have basic tea & coffee facilities and not charge 3.5 euros per person per day. This hotel must have the best acoustics as you can hear every door (metal fire doors on the room) slamming at all times The lifts were very small and slow. If you tried to use them at a busy time you could wait upto 4 times of the doors opening before you could squeeze in. The foodhall was very cafe like but the food was excellent. One tip don't all leave your table at once or it may be cleared away by the time you return. The kids club was in the smaller room as the amount of russians in the hotel had taken the bigger rooom. The girls were good and the boy enjoyed himself. Be warned though First Choice have to pay while Thomson go Free. There are not enough parasols around the pool and the Russians seem to be taking the Germans mantle for sunbeds towels.
