Although we enjoyed our week in Cyprus, we were very disappointed with the hotel. Thankfully, we had hired a jeep, and extended it for the full week, due to the lack of facilities in the 'so called' resort.

Although we enjoyed our week in Cyprus, we were very disappointed with the hotel. Thankfully, we had hired a jeep, and extended it for the full week, due to the lack of facilities in the 'so called' resort.
You couldn't even walk to anywhere, and although the hotel advertised nightly entertainment, we left on the 8th June, and it didn't start until the 10th!!
The sporting facilities on the internet site look top class......they are far from it. We didn't leave the hotel until 4pm on day of departure, and they said we couldn't have courtesy room (although hotel was very quiet and empty), as we could use the facilities in the 'leisure centre'. We just tidied ourselves in the toilets in hotel......hopefully, that speaks volumes of their leisure facilities!
One thing we could not fault were the staff in the bar/restaurant. Especially 'Bose and Ban'. They were two indian brothers, and couldn't have done more to help you. They were so courteous and polite, and great fun.
We will certainly go back to Cyprus, but definitely not to this resort. Anyone going without hiring a car will be most disappointed.
Sorry to be so negative. We really did have a good holiday, but were just really disappointed with the location of the hotel. There is quiet.....and very, very quiet!!!!
