Of all my holidays I spent, this hotel had by far the best Staff who not only looked like they enjoyed their jobs, but were always trying that little bit more to make our stay perfect. Holiday Rep Nikki from First Choice was extremely helpful

"Great Holiday"

We had a great time we are in our 60s but the blend of old and young was great the Hotel Staff were all excellent and nothing was to much trouble. The entertainment team led by Mohamed were top quality right through the day running competitions and children's activity's and in the evenings hosting party's and putting on superb stage shows and activity's. The only negatives I have was the size of the double bed and the comfort and having to pay for the room safe at 3€ a night after all this is a all inclusive Holiday. After saying all this we will return to the Louis Imperial in the future.

It was the little touches of service that made this hotel stand out for all of the right reasons. The cool face towels at midday, the waiter service at your sunbed, the staff remembering your name etc .... This was the first time my family and I stayed at the Imperial Beach and we were all very impressed. The food was outstanding. If you like a large sandy beach you will be disappointed however the natural rocks placed 20 yards offshore made the lagoon calm and very safe for the non and weak swimmers. We would all definitely return to the Imperial Beach.

"Not a 4* Premier by no means"

Overall Hotel Rating:

Good

Open quote

This is not a Four Star Premier hotel as Thomson/First Choice are promoting. The hotel is dated ie Reception/restaurant. Some areas are not kept as clean as you would expect restaurant area food section, the pool area/breakfast area needs a good overhaul/dirty in some areas, lifts, cleaning of the rooms. Food okay but repetitive. The animation team are ok for the younger ones but the music around the pool is terrible and loud with the same music day in day out.

The staff in the hotel are very friendly and went out of their way to help us. The rooms are very comfortable with lovely crisp white linen sheets and was cleaned every day. There was a good variety of food each evening and for those less adventurous people there was a roast meat on most evenings and for the sweet tooths the puddings were divine! We also ate in the Asian 'Mura' restaurant on three occasions during our stay where the staff there were very friendly and the food lovely, it made a nice change to eat away from the main dining room. During the day we never found any problem getting sunbeds although I wouldn't be sure that it would be so easy later in the season. You could stay round the pool and also there were some grassy areas with sunbeds if you didn't want to be by the pool. There is an on site entertainment team doing usual pool games, water polo, darts etc and they did the shows in the evening although we didn't go to many of those so not sure how good/bad they were! Another nice touch was the fresh fruit which was brought round in an afternoon and also very welcome cold flannels. The dining room was also open most of the afternoon offering sandwiches and snacks. We ventured into Paphos on several occasions.. on foot it takes about 20-25 mins or you can catch the regular buses on main road. If you intend to use the buses to go further afield such as Tombs of the kings or Coral bay it is slightly cheaper to get a day ticket. Overall this was a great hotel and its very likely that we will go back again.

"SUPERB but entertainment very poor "

Overall Hotel Rating:

As you can see all excellent except entertainment, the team of animators that was at the hotel tried their best one had only been an animator 1 week, 1 came from another hotel so all their shows were impossible. They really did try their best but I ultimately believe the hotel or the company who employ the animators should have paid entertainers to come in or share the animator from the hotel down the road which I believe had excellent shows, when you go all inclusive this does also include the entertainment!!!! One night a scruffy man and a young lady providing singing I have a video of how bad it was if anyone would like to see

"Not quite ready for re-opening"

Overall Hotel Rating:

Very Good

Open quote

This hotel only re-opened the day before we arrived and really should have been closed for another week as it was not ready to receive guests. Some of the facilities were not completed, rooms could have been cleaned better, did not have that finished sparkle and this did not improve while we were there. Food quality and choice was very good all the time and the newly opened Asian restaurant was excellent. Pool and bar area drink service was excellent, but restaurant drinks service left a lot to be desired.

Very good hotel, excellent friendly staff always helpful. Hotel in good location, easy to work to Paphos along the coast footpath. Plenty of room, no real problem with getting a sunbed. Pool warm , clean and never cramped. Hotel to be refurbished over winter, rooms are big, comfortable but in need of a spruce-up.

Hotel staff very friendly and helpful, nothing was too much trouble. Rooms are dated and the air con could do with being upgrade which I believe is being done at the end of this year but the rest of the hotel is lovely. Hotel suitable for those with children and mature couples. Food good, plenty of choice. Good location, only 15/20 min walk to Bar Street or 5 mins in taxi.

The best thing about this hotel is the food. Despite it being buffet service, the chefs somehow manage to produce fresh, tasty and varied meals. they even manage to make their themed international menus taste authentic. Where I feel it could do better is in the decor of the rooms, which is now quite dated. And they definitely need new quality bed linen.
