"Pissouri Bay"
Overall Resort Rating:
This is a very quiet resort and if you go up to the village you will soon realise that this is a Greek Cypriot community rather than a mass tourist area. But that is what we wanted. There are plenty of Tavernas for eating out, all serving the same kind of menus, but all nice enough. If you want good weather, peace and quiet then Pissouri Bay or village is the place to go.

"hylatio"
Overall Resort Rating:
The whole place is very clean, and the beach is about 500mtrs away. The staff are more than helpful, i am a person who complains at everything but the only thing i can comment on is the price of the food is slightly more expensive than normal outlets and the quantities are smaller. i would return there again. if hiring a car book it before you go out there as it can be expensive through Olympic, Hannah the REP is great....

"Not too Touristy"
Overall Resort Rating:
A lovely beach with enough shops and restaurants for shopping and eating out within a couple of minutes. Also only a five minute drive from the villa.

"Nice little seaside villiage"
Overall Resort Rating:
Nice seaside villiage with lots of places to eat and a lovely beach. There are a couple of shops selling basic foods and gifts. The beach is shingle and sand and has an area for swimming and also for water sports.

"excellent and friendly"
Overall Resort Rating:
All the reastaurants and supermarkets down the small road they are very expensive and for sure not value for money. We realised that the cheapest place to be was the Hylatio.

"A quite place to chill"
Overall Resort Rating:
Pissouri is not a place for those who want to party all night. However if you want to relax and enjoy good food then this may be up your street. There are a few tavernas there and a couple of shops. Much more in Pissouri village but still nowhere near as much as some of the bigger resorts. The prices in shops are also quite expensive. As for attractions there si not that much to see so if you do want to venture out you will need a hire car.

"Too good to share !"
Overall Resort Rating:
Pissouri is actually more than one village...theres the bay where the hotels etc are...and the 'proper' village on the hill. Pissouri isn't for those wanting a serious nightlife or lots of entertainment. Its pleasant, friendly, and the hill village is really pretty...there are lots of good places to eat and a shop or two...but if you want night life and clubs ...go elsewhere. As a quiet resort away from the razmataz and ( some might say) 'spoiled' Cyprus ..its just lovely. BUT!!! Unless you just want a week by the pool...you will need a car.

"relaxtion"
Overall Resort Rating:
The beach was five minutes walk away.with a few shops and restuarants nearby. The tourist village itself has a little shop that sells basics and the restuarant on site served very nice food.Cyprus is a beautiful country and we would definitely visit again
The only problem with poussori is the shingle beach which is pretty pitiful, and the lack of authentic bars and restaurants around. As a result it doesn't lend itself to competition and the prices are quite high.
Worth a try is the Platanista Tavern this small taverna is around 9 miles from Pissouri Bay in the hamlet of Platanista, it is best described as rustic in appearance, however the food is very good, and reasonable, with excellent service, get there before 7.30pm if you want to beat the Ex Pat comunity and get the best seats with some excellent elevated views towards Pissouri.
