"Sharm - where the sun ALWAYS shines!"

As we only stayed at Sharm for one week, and our hotel resort was fab, we did not take in as much of the surrounding areas as we had planned, although we did spend a couple of nights out in Naama Bay and also Soho Square.
We enjoyed the atmosphere and found plenty of places to enjoy a drink and bite to eat. Prices were average, with imported drinks being quite expensive - but this was expected.
We went on one trip out, where we enjoyed snorkelling in various locations - which we really enjoyed, the underwater life is so fascinating - and maybe on our next visit we will try some diving, as I can imagine this would be excellent.
Regarding weather, we were told that we would not see a cloud in the sky all week BUT we did have a day and half of rain - in the place where the sun always shines! So anyone travelling to Sharm over the next 12 months or so, can rest assured that it will not happen while you are there :)

total contrast to our hotel, we loved the resort, plenty going on, plenty of trips that you can make and of course if you love the beaches and the sea then there is plenty for you to do and enjoy here, overall I can overall totally recomend Sharm for all ages.

Not a lot to do - eating out is a bit pricey and there isn't really any nightlife. The closest thing to a pub was hard rock cafe.

HAGGLE, in the shops, with the taxi driver, with people selling excursions, with the people from the spa, haggle with them all!

Sharm is a great place. We stayed in the Sharks Bay area. The beach is great, great to cool off in the sea. There is a lot to do in the resort, it is just sooo hot though!!! Might try going in the winter next time.

The location was beautiful and there were loads of things to do. The prices were reasonable and the food in the restaurants was very delicious. I cannot wait for our return trip there.

water is beautiful along with the beach but as far as Taba Heights main town resort I didn't like it as it was over priced tat and very russian orientated. If you are not interested in shopping then I would recomend as the beaches and sea life are truly amazing and beautiful

Hygiene standards in the restaurants is questionable, the locals hassle you constantly for money and to get you into their shops to ultimately rip you off. If you question the price you receive abuse from shop owners/workers.

"Red sea is amazing"

Red sea has got to be seen it’s unreal. Best bit about Egypt is its sea we loved every minute of it while swimming with all the different types of fish. Weather is beautiful cannot fault Egypt itself.

Didn't really venture out of hotel because too hot, on little occasion we did , people friendly. Red Sea boat trip was great.

the resort of sharm iktself is pretty quiet. old sharm has many shops and restaurants, and the old market in the evenings. naama bay is very lively, it comes to life at night...many bars, clubs, shop, etc etc

nothing to do but sunbath unless you want to travel 60 miles 2 nearest shops alcohol very expensive if you enjoy spirits be prepared to pay £7 for one shot
