went to namma bay twice its very nice down there but busy and kids wanted to spend all the time.a little hassle but not as much as expected just dont make too much eye contact.

The hotel we stayed in was that good we hardly left except to see a few shops and go on the beach and a boat cruise with snorkelling in the red sea. Shop keepers are very pushy and want you to look in there shops...stay far enough away so the cant stand in front of you and tell them you have no money with you and will return another day, have a laugh and banter with them dont be rude and dont be affraid to argue over the price. the cruise and snorkelling trip was fantastic and the views were breathtaking.

Is was ok but really busy.i would stay in the hotel or your own beach. diving was really good and the people was kind.if you go diving you will see a lot of fish and have a great time

Booked 3 trips woth Mohamed, very professional. We paid a small deposit through to his HSBC account and paid the balance upon arrival to Sharm. We booked the Cairo by plane trip with our own guide and driver, (well worth the extra!). Great day and our guide Wael was brilliant. We also booked Camel riding & Quad Biking which we enjoyed but is very commercialised and you feel you want to get out further and experience the real Egypt. Good Times !

If you are after snorkelling, try a boat trip out to Ras Mohamed National Park. We booked our through Portland. It cost £48 each but was brilliant. We saw the most amazing fish and corals. Whilst you are snorkelling the crew do a lovely BBQ lunch.

Sharm is a few hotels in teh desert surprisingly small and un dustinguished. Naama Bay very lively-the old market is fulll of pressure-stay away from too much haggling!!

Namma Bay is great to walk about at night when its all light-up to see all the bars and shops which have great bargins.

Nice resort though you have to get used to haggling if you want to purchase anything as nothing has prices on so start halfway with whatever they say is the price and then meet them at a point which you think is fair, if not walk away which can seem difficult but being firm but polite seems to work well and sometimes you can get a good bargain. Namma bay was an experience and the hard rock cafe was great the food was good and the cocktails exceptional. I would only advice to go in the evening as it is just to hot during the day. We used the hotel taxi which is a bit more expensive but compared to the white nuckle ride of the local taxis well worth the money and the hotel taxi would take you and pick you up if you gave a time, which was great

As we were all inclusive I have to be honest and say that we only left the hotel to visit Naama Bay which I have to say was ok but we found that it was rather commercialised. We also went to the Old Market which again was ok but to be honest was full of the same old souveniers.

Good to relax or party-its what you make it. Kipling bag shop is here so I was happy. Plenty of tat shops for fridge magnets etc. TGI fridays, Pizza Hut, Mc Donalds and Hard Rock Cafe if thats what you want. Resort feels very safe and weather fantastic.

The hotel is basically in the middle of a desert. there are a lot of constructions at the minute, which causes no problems but is shaping the resort. Port Galib is brillaint and well worth a visit

nothing with in walking distance, depends what you want from naama bay, did nt feel safe in all female group, some locals at fantasia became agressive if you would nt go in their shops, they all sell the same old thing,

Sharm is a very sprawling resort spread out over a wide area. Naama Bay is worth a visit at night but is quite expensive for drinks. there are a lot of sights to see either on a city bus tour or by taxi.

can be a little hassle, but generally lovely place - must go to Ros Mahomed, gorgeous, first time i snorkelled and i was very apprehensive, but loved it. So did my 12 and 7 year olds
