Very much the same as many European holiday resorts, although the pestering by the locals did become very tiresome. Almost all shops, including Pharmacies, don't price anything. They much rather look you up and down, decide what you can afford, and charge accordingly.

Naama Bay a short stroll from the hotel. All the nightlife shops and bars are at this location. The beach was even closer as you could cut through the Tropicana Rosetta cross the road and then the beach. This beach you could walk into the surf rather than use a jetty. Snorkelling was excellent here and plenty of small bars for a meal or drink.

Very cosmopolitan, bit to glossy, nice and varied choice of restaurants, fish, Italian, Chinese, Indian, all very reasonably priced, but the wine, oh so expensive, 100 / 170 Egyptian poundas when only 55 in drinks shop, bit put of by pestering every time stopped to look in a shop but all in all, acceptable
