This is the second time we have stayed at this hotel, our first visit was december 04/jan 05 and we had a fab time, the food was beautifull, staff were great and it was one of the best holidays we have ever been on, so much so we decided to visit again, and as i was 16 weeks pregnant, i thought we would stick to what we new.....
what a mistake! the hotel has been taken over my new management as the old manager died. And you can tell the diference, the staff that were all getting such a hard time by the new boss they were really sad, some off them were planning on leaving they were getting that much off a hard time, which is such a shame as they are all really fab, hardworkers and it was lovely to see them again. The food was discusting, it was laced in salt and unrecognisable sauces, i spent most of my holiday on the toilet as did all the other guests we spoke to and being pregant i could not take anythin for it... my husband and i spent over £300 extra on food as we ate out every day after the first few days because we could not face eating any more, as did most of the other all inclusive guests. We were so disappointed.
The drinks and service was really fab and it was lovely to see all the staff again they all remembered us, the rooms are still great and very spacious but the homley feeling and good atmosphere that the old manager made the hotel feel had gone and it has lost all its magical sparkle which is such a shame, we may return next year with the baby as we still keep in touch with some staff but it will definatly be on a room only basis.

Amar Sina Hotel small but friendly. Food good with plenty of choice.A unique building that stood out from the other hotels in the area. Family room quite spacious but lighting in the room bad. Double room small. Pool freezing in January. No where near a beach or town. A free taxi to a designated beach that was down 130 steps, with beds that touched all along the small area. Rocky into the sea and water shoes a must.

Hotel rooms are very dark and dingy - we were put in a room at back of hotel overlooking the living quarters of the staff which were very very basic - linen was not very clean looking - food was basic but the staff were friendly. This hotels ";beach"; is disgusting down a steep cliff to rows of sunbeds that were touching each other. Not suitable at all for people with walking difficulties. We asked for a move after two days as did four other rooms of guests, which our rep did for us most oblingingly as we could not stand this for two weeks. This hotel also boasts a small zoo in the grounds - terrible - one camel tied up one cage of birds one cage with 4 monkeys in with no visible signs of any food or water.
May return to Sharm El Sheikh sometime but would do more research into hotels and their locations.

We returned from the Arma sina on 6th March, overall we found it a very good hotel just in need of a little TLC,the rooms were comfortable, the bed was a very good size although a little hard, the staff were so friendly and helpfull,we took our 2 year old grandaughter and they all made her so welcome giving her loads of attention which was nice.
The food was a little repetitive but we always found something we liked and none of us got a bad stomach not even our grandaughter.
There is not a lot to do at this resort, the local beach which is a 20mins walk away is really nice, they do a lovely pizza which is around £2.50 and does 2 people easily.
The weather was lovely not a cloud all week,we would go back but not to this resort.

just returned from a week at the Amar Sina, as this was a late and cheep deal we found this hotel to be lovely. The style of the hotel is eygption and rooms are basic but comfy, every day when returning to our room we had different things made on our beds out of the towels eg swans flowers ect. The staff are brill and very eagar to help you if you have any problems the only problem we had was the food it was very eygption and not what us british expect lol and me and most people i spoke to had had the runs so i would recomend that if you visit here or anywhere in eygpt you take plenty of imodium tablets
