"again and again"
Overall Hotel Rating:
The hotel was fantastic, the waterpark is great for kids and always open. The hotel is right next to the beach which is apsaloutely amazing considering you do the snorkling or diving. All of the staff are really friendly, funny and cator to your every wim (especially those in the Panorama bar). Food is good but not the best, entertainment is also dry.

"Park Inn"
Overall Hotel Rating:
It was great because we have children and the Aqua Park was excellent for them. The food was ok but sometimes struggled to find something I liked, I would say it was more geared towards Russians and Polish people.
We had booked a pool view room but ended up in a room facing the building site in the hotel next door.
We also found that the music was very very loud from the hotel next to us which wasn't great as we have a 1 year old. This usually finished by midnight but it was annoying when you wanted to go to sleep.
The grounds of the hotel were beautiful. My one gripe was that this was supposed to be all inclusive however you had to pay for ice cream, room service, mini bar and the a la carte restaurants.
The staff were wonderful and very helpful.

"PARK INN"
Overall Hotel Rating:
The staff at the hotel made up for the missing finer points: Two main points are; 1, the animation team were a joke and totally out of their depth at trying to entertain. 2, the repetative buffet style meals were bland and lacked imagination

"WONT BE GOING BACK TO PARK INN......EVER"
Overall Hotel Rating:
Just retuned from Park Inn. Decor in the rooms is tired and needs touching up. Food was good plenty for all. Beware of the Russian guests need a lesson in manners!! Aqua Park was great a fabulous asset to this hotel, we spent everyday near the wave pool, and we slipped the towel boy 50 Egyptian and had the same spot for a fortnight. The bar staff are excellent Wallid and Hassam especially...great job guys. However if you have bath robes in your room make sure that you and the reception staff know how many as on our last day my husband and I were accused of stealing 1 !!!!!!!! Overall we had a great holiday and was thankful we went with friends and there children as the entertainment is ABSOLUTELY DREADFUL!!! on one occasion we went to the Bedouin tent to see a comedy show......great we thought.....the animation teams idea of comedy is to drink water then proceed to spit at each other!!!!!! Thank god for great friends and the Panorama bar. We will not return to this hotel but will return to Egypt, this was our third visit.

"park inn sharm el sheikh"
Overall Hotel Rating:
this was our third time in sharm el sheikh, of the 3 hotels we have stayed in this was probably just about our least favourite, but still very good. the pool is big, as it has been at the other hotels, this seems to be the in thing in sharm! food was good, though a couple of nights we didn't really fancy it and ate out instead.

"Top hotel without spending top dollar"
Overall Hotel Rating:
This hotel is more than suited for couples or families whether it be young or teenagers. Went all inclusive, not sure if other board options available. Upgraded to superior room. Have access to its own beach with free ice cream, drinks etc via sister hotel Radisson across the road. With its own top quality water park on-site this is a must for families, couples and any traveller looking for facilities within the complex. The staff were very friendly, especially the water park staff and restaurant staff. The rooms were very clean and the maids took time to present your towels each day with little design (see picture). It is quiet in the vicinity of the hotel but is only a short taxi ride or bus trip into the town centre with its lively nightlife. There are enough local shops right beside the hotel for any essentials and gifts.

"Nice hotel but not as all inclusive"
Overall Hotel Rating:
The hotel was very nice and clean in the areas of the rooms and pools. The food area's had fly's everywhere and the bar's where very smelly. There was no real entertainment and when sitting by the pool area sales people would come over and bug us to buy treatments, hair cut, manicures....ect
The food was nice the first few days, but we soon realised there was no variety and every day was the same. We found out while we were there the hotel had been down graded from 4+ to a 3 star hotel. We were not offerd the chance to move to a hotel of the class we had paid.
"OMG THIS IS BARELY A 3 STAR COMPLEX"
Overall Hotel Rating:
Having just returned from this complex, all I can say is OMG, give this place a wide berth. This is Aqua Park only, and under No Circumstances should people be asked to stay here. This food is terrible and unedible, my party lived on chips mostly for our fornight. The standard of food hygiene is poor. Meal times you had to contend with flies in the restaurants. Most of the desserts contained nuts. The fruit selection was fruit salad (one bowl per setting) orange segments (dry looking). I had to ask if it was poosible to have a banana or whole apple, this was given to me reluctently. Food is repetative and under cooked. If you mentioned the food was under cooked, all you were told was there is other options there. Drinks apart from the restaurents and reception bar are served in PLASTIC disposable cups. Coffe or tea was only available at the Lotus Bar or Pool Bar during the day. If you wanted a hot drink while in the Aqua Park you had to walk about 400m to get one, and then 400m back to enjoy it. All drink would be served warm, this includes water, orange and pineapple. In the Lotus Bar in the afternoon, the food was left in direct sunlight and uncovered. The BIRDS and FLIES enjoyed eating it as residents watched. The staff are rude, and should be trained better in Customer Services, this also includes Management. I asked for one of my sheet to be changed as it had BLOOD on it, this was not mine. This took 4 days to do, and was only changed when I put in a complaint via Direct Holiday Rep. Who was as helpful as ever, not. All food is unrefrigerated. When I asked for a soft drink at a Aqua Bar, is was asked if I would like to buy a bottle for 35 Egyptian Pound (£4.50), outside you could buy the same drink for 6.50 EP (about 90p), another rip off. Bottled Water was 13 EP (£1.50) in Park Inn or 3 EP (50p) outside in the supermarket. The animation team try there best, but it is difficult. The night time entertainment is poor, and the tent is a disaster waiting to happen. Not only can you get drinks here you can also get bitten, free of charge. This hotel is a 2 Star complex, if you are on a tight budget go here. But any spending money you take will be used getting to Macdonalds and or KFC to have a meal you can eat. If you wanted ice cream if was free on the beach of 1.50 EP (£2) at the Aqua Bar. To summories, Park Inn should only be used as an Aqua Park only, this is the only thing it was built for. One of the rides was closed, and my daughter was advised it would be another 2 months before it opened. On a happier note as already stated 2 fast food outlets are situated about 2 miles away and also a Starbucks Cofffe House. Macdonalds and KFC deliver, but the complex does not like it being delivered. Our party found a bar called the Tree Crowns, it is an English Bar, which now sells food. If you want information about Sharm etc, some ex pats use this bar and are more than willing to give you FREE information and advice. You may even be able to get a better deal on excursions. It is cheap to drink here. Also next to this Bar is a Games Console Amusement Arcade, which the kids will enjoy. Wii, Playstation and X Box 360 games.

"Average hotel"
Overall Hotel Rating:
Arrived back from the Park Inn on 06/08/2009.Nice hotel with a very good water park which really is for 6-14 year olds. All linclusive average. No icecreams though, very disapointing. Big rooms in hotel with nice grounds. This was our first trip to Eygpt and our last found the people very annoying and always in your face ,they would not leave my 16 year old daughter alone ! Out of the resort there was nothing to do and in the evening nothing to do in the hotel , very boring. We had items stolen out of our cases on our last day and we are sure ths was the c leaners in the hotel ,we met others from our hotel that had stuff stolen but did not know this had happend to us untill arriving back home. The hotel have emailed us after we complained and they have said that the cleaner has now been moved. Not alot of use to us now though ! We have also NEVER been so ill on holiday ,we can't prove it was the hotel but there were a lot of people ill here. Overall not a bad hotel ,prehaps we were unlucky but we would never go back here again !

"No sophistication but great hotel"
Overall Hotel Rating:
Don't come to this hotel if you want sophistication but come if you want a brilliant water park. This is our 5th trip to Egypt - we love the heat and the people - but we have been to better hotels than the Park Inn. However the water park is worth coming to alone - to have a huge park like this within your hotel is fantastic. There are 2 other big pools but why spend time there when you have nearly 20 slides of all standards from the scary to toddlers and so many pools you can't keep up. Take lilos or buy them there and float all day around the lazy river - on the plane they were selling waterproof ipod cases and ear phones for £10, briliant investment.
We came here because of the age of our children (18,14,9) and they loved the water park but there is not much else to do. The entertainment was pretty average but most are entertaining themselves around the park.
We had 2 inter connecting rooms which were clean and spacious. Our shower flooded once and was dealt with very promptly and efficiently.
The food was very good but our main critisism were the restaurants - when we first arrived we thought we had landed at Butlins! There are 2 restaurants but no snack bars to have lunch at so you have to use these restaurants for all your meals. They are very large, noisy and busy. Even some screening would help but the food was hot and varied.
Another crtitisim is the drinks. The bars often ran out of gas for the fizzy drinks machines, or fizzy water came out instead of coke. The water machines were not plugged in so the water was warm. The fruit juice was strong squash which is not unusual but when you are so thirsty because of the heat you need a bit of variety and even though the beer was very good, at 10am in the morning its even a bit early for me!
The shops around the hotel are good but you do get hassled. Just smile politedly and they treat you good. The copy goods are brilliant but the rolex watches that we bought did not keep correct time. Shoes are good and handbags, at less than £20 each were wonderful.
We went on a snorkelling trip as the scuba diving at the hotel was quite expensive. Watch out though for the exchange rate. They say £30 each but then you have to pay in Egyptian and it has gone up to £50 equivalent. Also they say everything is included and then start asking you for extra to pay for entrance to the national park. Just be firm or don't take any extra money with you. Ras Mohammed national park for snorkelling was good but ther were so many boats that we did not even see any turtles. The snorkelling at the hotel is good - you walk across a busy road then about 1/4 mile down a path which is not a problem.
In conclusion, if you have a family who need entertaining during the day this is great. If you are a couple who want a quiet holiday with romantic overtones - there are far better places to go. Also check sunshine.co.uk - we got the holiday for £1400 cheaper than the main tour operators.

"Great Holiday"
Overall Hotel Rating:
We have just returned from a 11 night holiday at the park inn & had a fab time. Very impressed with the hotel. We had a family room which was very big & had 2 bathrooms! The hotel was clean, the staff were all really friendly & the facililities, especially the water park were excellent. We spent most of the day there but there are other pools if this is not your thing. The food was plentiful & quite varied but is repeated on a weekly cycle. There is something for everyone even if you are really fussy. My only negative comment would be the entertainment. They did try really hard but unless you have younger children then you will struggle. Saying that my 8 year old daughter loved it. Would definately recommend for a good value family holiday.

"Not so great"
Overall Hotel Rating:
Staff and room ok but food abd drinks were BAD! I hate complaining about places but I find it really hard to say anything good apart from it was cheap but would still expect at least some evening entertainment, proper juice in drinks (not cordial) and food that didn't look like leftovers! Hotel definatly caters to the russian market.

"Lovely Hotel"
Overall Hotel Rating:
Myself and my husband travelled to the Park inn resort for our honeymoon in May. It was the first time we have both been to egypt and were not disapointed. The tranfer from Sharm airport was only about 25 minutes and we were quickly checked in. The reception is not huge but it is very nice and the staff are very friendly. We were allocated a room upgrade as it was our honeymoon which we didn't even have to ask for. Our cases were carried upto the room which was lovely and the bed was massive! We were ther for 2 weeks and the first week the food was amazing, something different every day but for some reason the 2nd week seemed a little less high quality. Pools were amazing, water park was great fun and the bar staff were always trying to make you laugh and they were brilliant with small children. Overall a lovely hotel all be it a little to far out of the Nama Bay area than we had imagined, neverthe less a great 2 week honeymoonx

"Poor Food"
Overall Hotel Rating:
Good swimming but food poor and restaurants are like school canteens. The waiters are very good and helpful. entertainment is poor but after a days swimming we just wanted to sleep. The pools are clean. The alcohol is weak but buy some from the local shops its better quality. Be prepared to get an upset stomach but the local chemist kbows what you need. They give away free viagra with every purchase, not that I needed it!!!

"First trip to Egypt"
Overall Hotel Rating:
hello all!! my name is megan thomas and i recently went on holiday with my family to the Park Inn Resort in Sharm El Skeikh. It was my family's first time to Egypt and i think i can say for all us that we thoroughly enjoyed every minute we had over there. In my opinion we could not have picked a better resort to stay at. We had originally booked one room but on arrival we were upgraded to a family suite which consisted of a large lounge with sofa bed plus additional sofa and storage and a large bedroom for mum and dad. We had two bathrooms which was great for me as i spend hours infront of the mirror. All of the hotel staff were extremely polite and always tried to meet all your needs. There are three pool areas, one with bar actually in the pool, one for more serious swimmers and one with several smaller pools as part of the fantastic aqua park! Me and my family spent most our time at the aqua park which had slides to entertain from the smallest child to the most adventurous adult. Speaking as a teenage girl of 15 you need to be aware that the compliments given to you by the staff (who are mainly men) should be taken with a pinch of salt, it's extremly flattering but you shouldn't let it go to your head!
