This was our fourth visit to this hotel in two and a half years and it has not changed at all ! All the staff are are extremely helpful and attentive , the food is excelent in ALL the restaurants my wife and i have never had any stomach problems at all . The grounds of the hotel are kept very clean and tidy . The one thing that really has improved is the entertainment , the band that plays near the pool in the evenings are so much better than previous entertainment in the hotel . Overall this hotel is excellent and the only thing i can say about some negative reviews is that they must come from professional complainers ( you know the type ) . I would recommend this hotel to anyone

Fantastic looking place, reviews were good enough even for the fussiest of travellers however, how slow can service be. We arrived on the Thursday as three paying adults and booked a sea view suite. This consisted of a lounge, kitchenette, bedroom and bathroom. The third adult was expected to sleep on the pull out sofa bed which was very tatty and had a 2 inch thick "pad" - we had to wait 2 hrs for linen to make up the spare bed. The air con wasn't working and we had to wait for all sorts of engineers to come and finally decide that they couldn't fix it until the morning - this wasn't so bad as we were still waiting for the linen and it was getting on for 1am at this stage... day 2, the adult bed arrived, the aircon was fixed but we noticed that we had no kitchen utensils, we ordered them and they took a further 2 days to arrive..on the same day we reported the patio door as the locking mechanism was non existant and our whole room security was reliant on a snapped chain - this is apparently not an important feature of a holiday - said the Front of House Manager Mohammed. Day 3 we all got food poisoning from the hotel restaurant "Accapulco Joes" so we had little option but to spend day 4 and 5 waiting in for the patio door to be fixed. Finally as an irrate guest, I demanded service - to which we were moved from room 1507 to 1806 which had a complimentary sea view ... duh that was what we had paid for anyway??? to boot we then had to wait a further 5 hours to have a bed delivered. We were offered a free fruit bowl to compensate us for - 5 days without the sea view that we had paid for, 5 days of staying in our room or very close for the security of our belongings, food poisoning, broken air con, no bed. Finally when we thought things couldn't become even more annoying - we booked all our trips through exel travel - big mistake - they never even turned up to take us on a quad bike ride at 4.30 in the morning.. lovely place but never again, they have no concept on service. The saddest part was when the young lady with really big eyes who normally welcomes you to the Coast restaurant for your breakfast said, "make it small" when I asked could I take some toast back to the room as my son and partner where too ill to get out of bed for breakfast. I can think of a better way to waste three thousand pounds than on a two week holiday to this dump.

Na'ama bay was Las Americas all over again, I'd love to have the opportunity to site see without every man and his dog trying to drag me into a shop, write a letter for their window or sell fake goods.

This hotel was great. Set in a fantastic location - not right in the hustle and bustle, but close enough, it is a quiet area perfect for the ultimate relaxing holiday! We were dropped off at our hotel 2nd and were soo relieved with ours a complete palace compared to the other. The hall and lobby are stunning, the gardens and surrounding area are well kept, pools great and the beach is fantastic with a jetty taking you out to the sea. The staff are friendly, efficient and extremely happy to help (not just because they are looking for tips, but because that is their nature) We ate in: Acapulco Joes (the mexican) which was great there is a limited menu but the food is great... Zinzina does great pizzas and burgers and good for a small snack at lunch.. We were bed and breakfast and found that there was a great variety offered to suit most tastes!

Overall i would reccomend this hotel and Sharm in general without hesitation.

Me and my boyfriend have just returned from 2 weeks in this fantastic hotel. I was a bit unsure about sharm after hearing various bad things about the resort in general. But my mind was complelty put at rest as soon as we got to this hotel.

The first week was very quiet in the hotel and the staff couldn't do enough for you, you couldn't hold your own drinks and every morning our towels were laid out in our usual spot and a bottle of water on ice as with us as soon as we came from breakfast. The hotel is quite expensive but worth every penny. The rooms were spotlessly clean although were cleaned a little late, so late that we had come into to change for the evening and they hadn't been done yet! But apart from that they were fantatic. Although the mexican gave me and my patner and various other people in the hotel very poorly. But not to put you off!

Definatly recommend the Cario trip but if yoru book locally it'll be alot cheaper. Also Ras Mohammed boat trip was out of this world!! People saw Whale Sharks, Sting Rays and Hammer heads!!!!!!! But we only saw very beatuiful fish!

We went with longwood and i wouldn't recommend them at all! Messages never get to you about delays they over charge you for eveything compared to Thomson and the excursions aren't as good as there's ie: food etc! Long woods call themselves experts in Red Sea but all the reps are egypitan and the mini buses are small and cramped. And they aren't the best wouldn't go woth them again.

Would definatly recommend this hotel it was unbeliable!!!

this was our 2 week honeymoon, we have been to egypt twice before but never to sharm el sheik. the hotel was out of this world, very clean, and the staff were so kind and helpful. our room was a suit which consisted of kitchen with washing machine, cooker hob, microwave and fridge freezer, with lounge/dining room, huge t.v with lots of english channels, marble bathroom and huge bedroom with the biggest bed ive ever seen (andagain another t.v), we overlooked the pools and the sea. this resort is on alot of different levels but they have golf buggies, so if you want a ride just ring reception who will send (free of charge) a buggy to you. there is a shuttle bus that takes you to nama bay twice a day, free round about lunch time then £1 for one way at about 7.30pm-return at 9.30pm. the resturants in the hotel are very good (there are 4 to choose from) but we found it alot cheaper to eat out. the usual in the town kfc, macy d'2, pizza hut, hard rock, tfi fridays, and so on. the only down fall is all the egyption people hounding you to go into their resturant or their shop all the time.

overall would rate this holiday 99%, if you have young children wouldnt rate this holiday its so hot and the hotel was mainly full of couples or older families, no kids clubs, but a fantastic place to unwind without screaming children.
