We stayed in Morzine but visited Annecy for the day. It is a beautiful town with lots to see and do. We spent alot of time by the lake which has a smooth tarmac track around it for cycling a skating. At the far end of the lake you can also waterski and wakeboard. I could have spent a few more days here but not much longer. Too keen on getting back to mountain biking. (I have rated beaches as average but there isn't any but the park by the lake is very good)

We took one of rudechalets chalets on a self catered basis. Before I booked they were very helpful with advice on the area and helping with booking activities for the week. The chalet was amazing and was exactly as described on their website. When we arrive...
