Chateau des Ormes Campsite Reviews

We had a lovely 4 night stay at this small site which is set in woodland surroundings in Chateau grounds. We have a 3 & 2 year old and there was enough to keep us entertained all week without venturing out, for families with older children who need more entertainment there seemed to be lots else around to do. We stayed in a well equipped mobile home the only fault I could find was that the blankets and rooms smelt a bit damp and fusty. Alternative and interesting looking accommodation are tree houses and little round thatched hut things (I can't remember what they call them) and tents. On site are 2 swimming areas (one of which is semi inside which is great for the little ones in the hot sunny weather), pony rides, pedalos, tennis, good play park areas, kids clubs. The site is very close to St Malo but we sailed with Brittany to Cherbourg, it took about 2 hours in the car and was easy to find. We would definately return.
