We have been to other campsites in Spain and France and high hopes for this site in the South of France. How wrong we were...
The staff are rude and apathetic. The kids club is run exclusively for French children. The pool area is not adequate for the size of the campsite. People lie everywhere and its very tricky trying to walk past them. The pool area has a concrete surface but it in a poor state of repair with lots of crumbling bits that get in your feet. V sore for kids and adults alike! Also, if you don't get to the pool by 9.30am and pay your 5 euros for your sunbeds you won't have a chance of getting one! Even if you do get a bed, people will lay towels right next to you (so close you are touching each other - eeek!). Also a big consideration if you are taking kids - there is no life guards on duty at the pool (and the pool gets totally mobbed and you have to watch your kids all the time - v stressful).
The snack bar and restaurant are also very poor. Again, staff are rude and uninterested. I paid 15 euros for 3 cokes (come on!!!!). Very limited menu at snack bar and restaurant.
There are only 2 shower blocks on the whole site (for around 700 pitches - pathetic).
The evening entertainment is non existent and you have no option than to get into your hire car and go into town for the night.
There is nothing endearing about this campsite. Although it is near to the autoroute and you can easily get away to St Tropez, Cannes, Antibes, Monaco, Nice...
Seriously, I wouldn't waste your money - go somewhere else.
We booked our apartment for a business trip and a holiday afterwards in Cannes at the French Riviera! They realy helped us our while we booked lastminute and they offered us a great apartment with nice views and close to the Festival hall in Cannes.

TRAVEL.
Booked at Thomas Cook who arranged the 3 parts for us - resort booking, flight on Flygolobespan (Edinburgh to Nice), and car hire. 1st time driving abroad with the family. Picking up the car at Nice was a bit of a fuss. Arrived at Terminal 1, got booking arranged at AVIS desk, but the car was at Terminal 2, so had to huckle 5 of us and 5 cases to Terminal 2 on transfer bus - a crush and a fuss - note for next time, 1 adult goes and gets car and brings it back to where the kids and cases are. Got a Picasso which was fine for 5.
Drove down to St. Tropez area, and drive was ok, had a good map, and managing the tolls was a bit tricky. Some tolls you pay on the spot, some you pick up a ticket and pay at the exit of your road ( a bit confusing).
RESORT
Got to resort and picked up keys. It is a hilly resort and we were at the top of the hill. Parked up in the car park and made our way to the room, up more stairs. What a disappointment, small, dark (a big tree right outside the window), as well as the stairs to get there. At the veranda there were 3 stairs down at one side and an unfenced drop of 3 feet at the other - no good for a 2 year old. Complained straight away and got a move to a room lower in the resort, just above the reception, with a great view across the bay to St. Tropez. However the room was still small (we had an apartment for 6/7 at 40 m2). The room was a bit old looking and not particularly clean, showers were a bit poor, small bedrooms, no a/c. So probably what you would call French rustic. We had a look at other accomodation, the range was huge in terms of space, basically you pay for the space you get, but all fairly basic.
FACILTIES
Now the GOOD STUFF. The pool was great. 1 big pool, with wave machine that went on every hour, and nearly everyone went in for that. This pool shallowed out to only inches deep, and my 2 year old girl happily played there, as others did with balls etc. 1 other smaller pool for c 6-12 year olds, 1 jacuzzi, 1 baby pool. All very good. Lots of sunbeds around although not quite enough because a few people ended up towels on grass, but people actually lifted their towels from sunbeds during the day, so we never did not get sunbeds. We spent most of our days around the pool. There were some activities, but it was very hot. football, volleyball, tennis, etc. Missed most of the evening entartainment because we were out at the towns eating, but caught 1 show and it was honest amateur stuff, and quite fun.
SURROUNDING AREA.
French food is fantastic. At night we would go to Grimaud (quiet hilltop), Port Grimaud (pretty yacht town), St. Maxine (the most touristy) and St. Tropez for dinner. Cost was pretty reasonable but the quality, just about the best I've had. Even the resort restaurant is good.
Local funfair and adventure golf were fun. Trip to Marineland, was ok (if you've been to Florida before). Also close water park (at St. Maxine), although we did not go.
1st holiday in France for years, and will definitley return again.
