Sorry, I have to disagree with all previous three reviews; we found the hotel rooms to have filty stained carpets, all glass and mirrors unclean with cigarette smoke; streaked walls of nicotine; previous tenants false nails on the carpets; moved once to ano...

Great fun for all the family but don't expect any Disney smiles from the French staff, they're a miserable bunch! Food in the park is extortionate and really poor but is marginally better in the Disney Village (We enjoyed Annettes Diner and the kids loved meeting all the charachters at Cafe Mickey). Avoid the VEA transfer from the airport if you have young family as it's a HUGE hassle and there is no information at all to let you know where to get the busses from etc. Book a private transfer or get a taxi if you can stretch to it.

OverallPoor Hotel

I visited this hotel with my wife and two children (2&5) in September 2008. After a horrible journey on the VEA shuttle (3 buses from airport to hotel), check in was fine and the staff pleasant. We booked a room with a seperate bunk room for the children (...

Disneyland Paris is great, it is all you expect and more, the parades are fab, do get a pitch of pavement about 1 hour before to get a good view, you will q for rides, and going at the busiest time of year, its a long wait for a ride, be prepared to get pushed about, some people just have no manners. Dont go if you are skint, everything is very expensive. The best thing for me was Buffalo Bills Wild West Show, a fab experience. My husbands best ride was the Tower of Terror, My sons (who is 6)best thing was seeing the characters, and the parades, the night time parade and fireworks are stunning, but be prepared if you have little ones, it dosnt start untill 10.30pm, its a very late night for you when your only 6, but well worth it. Disneyland Paris is a fab place to go, you will never forget it!!!

We added a couple of days on to the Disney park holiday and stayed in Paris. This made the whole trip much more interesting. Disneyland itself is the usual high standard, and my wife preferred it to the Florida park .Food on site was pretty good, had a particularly nice dinner at Walts'but a lousy steak in the steak restaurant on Frontierland! The rest of the family had a great lunch and were very amused that my steak was so bad in a restaurant that specialised in it. I had no problem in getting the staff to amend the bill after I commented. My grandson (5) loved the rainforest cafe. However prices at any of the food outlets are just astronomical for any family meal. Overall, we saw none of the oft reported French rudeness at all, although it's clearly only the Brits that have any concept of queuing at all!Sharp elbows are needed on occasion. Everywhere we went we had a pleasant reception. A little language difficulty on occasion but nothing deliberate I'm sure. As a holiday, it was pleasant and made better by the fact that we had good weather, but it was such poor value for money and with the current exchange rate not helping, that it will not be a place that I would rush back to. If you are booked to go, budget for a very high expenditure and double it, and this is meant as serious advice.

It would be dumb not to expect to have to pay a premium for the on site hotels, but the value was not here at all. It really was a motel type room that we had , and one with very tired decoration at that. Would have been ok at about half the price even allow...

Noisy rooms with adjoining doors to neighbours which allow you to hear everything. Queues for breakfast, queues for amusements and queues for shows, in fact queues for everything. Very expensive to eat and drink anywhere - expect to pay 100 Euros and up for a simple one course meal for two adults and two kids. Queues for main attractions start at 20 minutes and go up to 2 hours at peak times - kids get frustrated and this makes things stressful - not my idea of a fun time to be honest. had to change room on first night due to noisy neighbours and air-con fan immitating a tractor ploughing a french field. Bag stolen from front doors of hotel withing 5 minutes of arrival. No CCTV!
