It would be dumb not to expect to have to pay a premium for the on site hotels, but the value was not here at all. It really was a motel type room that we had , and one with very tired decoration at that. Would have been ok at about half the price even allowing for the Disney premium. DON'T go into the bar for a drink unless you have a pre arranged mortgage.Prices are pretty unbelievable. It's a nice bar, but I did wonder why it was empty! Breakfast was pretty good and all the staff were very friendly and helpful, but if I went again I would stay at one of the nearby hotels off site, and use some of considerable money saved to taxi in or use a hotel bus.The New York is just not good enough to command the price they ask. We travelled on the Eurostar, first time and a great way to go but the 'second' class is good and a first class ticket isn't really neccessary to enjoy the trip. It's great to be able to go right to the door of the park on this train. Loved it. Overall on a total value for money basis, it's back to Florida for me.
We added a couple of days on to the Disney park holiday and stayed in Paris. This made the whole trip much more interesting. Disneyland itself is the usual high standard, and my wife preferred it to the Florida park .Food on site was pretty good, had a part...

My husband, daughter aged 10 and I have just returned from Disneyland Paris. We stayed at Hotel New York from 12-15th inclusive. Drive down from Calais not bad - this was our fourth visit. Checked in quickly at Hotel but disappointed to find no kettle in room and very surly cleaners on arrival at our room door. A great Disney welcome (not!). Unfortunately it was English half term and French school holidays and the park was very busy. Weather was attrocious and we had nowhere to get wet clothes dry easily. Queues to see the characters were long, we gave up half the time.
Food was ridiculously expensive. We went to Planet Hollywood for Valentines Lunch and the in-house photographer would not take no for an answer until I exploded. Went for coffee, and deli sandwiches one night cost 20 euros. Gave up after that and went to McDonalds. We found the French were given preferential treatment for everything. Queues everywhere all the time through security, for meals, characters. Having said that the new Buzz ride is great and the Stunt Show remains a favourite.
However we will not return. Journey back home took 1 hour longer due to accident just on Paris outskirts. Save your money for Florida - we are going to and we are sure the food will be cheaper and the American people so much more warm and welcoming.
Eurotunnel 10/10 though for service and efficiency.
I don't really think a lot needs to be said about the resort, i assume everyone going to euro disney knows what they are going to get.

The accomadtion in general was good.
the room was spacious and with two double beds for only two of us we each had our own space. Bathroom needed updated a little but other than that hotel was lovely. When booking i would recomend that you ask for a room with a view of the lake, our view of a wall wasn't really what we expected.
Apart from breakfast we didn't eat in the hotel, breakfast wasn't anything special though. The usual continental breakfast, although being in an American style hotel has its advantages as you also get bacon, sausage and scrambled eggs.
For those with children there's always a character around at breakfast but the crowds do get large.
All in all a lovely holiday - prices are very expensive though - prices for two drinks reached £10, be sure to take a few nibbles along with you to get the most out ofyour holiday.
those travelling without children i would advise to go for three days not four. on our fourth day after doing every ride in the theme park and visitng most shops more than one we were left with a whole day of which there was nothing to do but retrace our steps.
having said that i would definately go back - its just so magical - who wouldn't?

Just been on a short break to disney land paris before we left we were expecting something spectacular on arrival we very dissapointed there was only 4 big rides throughout the park ideal location for small children but our 11 yr old son found it very boring food is very expensive a meal at annettes diner ie 4 burgers 4 fries 2 soft drinks 63euros only 1 place to buy cigarets sportsbar THE FRENCH WERE VERY VERY IGNORANT,ARROGANT AND RUDE the full park was french orientated THEY SHOULD RENAME IT TO FRENCH DISNEY, the hotel was nice but we felt check in was very rushed A BIT OF ADVICE SAVE A LITTLE MORE MONEY AND GO TO FLORIDA we would never reccomend disney land paris to anyone

on my 4th trip to disney paris we decided to stay in the 4 star hotel new york .... we checked in early and they stored our luggage for us... after been in the park for a hours we returned to the hotel with our luggage already been placed in our room by a bellboy ....the hotel is wow such a lovely hotel we loved it staff were friendly and bellboy even collected our luggage from our room and put it in storage till we departed ...the room we stayed in was lovely and spacious , cleaned daily, fresh towels, soaps and shower gels and a safe...you get to see alot more characters in this hotel starting from 8.30am and althrough the day
disney is as cheap or expensive as you want it to be,we take a dozen cans of pop with us to drink in hotel etc as it cuts the costs abit for us ... we ate at the buzzlightyear restaurant everyday its well priced sells mickey mouse pizzas fries burgers etc its ideal if you have kids .. there are plenty of tables and a fairly big play area for kids to play so us adults can have abit of a relax before we set off round the park again quietest time to eat is 11.30am... we always ate at mcdonalds at nite time as its about same price as over here...
When u buy gifts round the park and you can have them sent back to your hotel no charge i found this a god send ...
some rides do get very busy dumbo we always hit first thing as the ques do get massive later on in day...around 6pm rides tend to go alot quieter and we managed to go on lots of rides in a space of an hour or so ... rides also tend to be less busy when parades are on... if you are disabled and have a blue badge take it with you to the cityhall in main street where they will issue you with a card to allow you to go to ride exits so u dont have to que... my fave ride was star wars which has a fast pass its brill... Disney staff are very helpful and can speak english
if you watch the parade in disney studios best place to watch it is the end by the flying carpets as when the parade finishes alot of the characters will walk about and u get to meet them it made my daughters hol getting a hug off minnie
if you watch the main parade in fantasy land at 3pm best place to watch it is up the end near it`s a small world as its just too busy down main street to watch also the same goes at nite for the light up parade you can always get a fab view..
Yes we do get que jumpers on rides from ppl from germany and france etc as they think they can just barge past just stand your ground and tell em to bog off like i do they can que just like the rest of us do...
