My husband and I have just returned from a wonderful weekend in Paris.
The weather was lovely and we did all the excursions - boat trip on the Seine and open top bus tour.... We booked Du Cadran after reading the reviews on Trip Advisor and got a good price of ?53 pps including Breakfast per night. The hotel was exactly how I expected it to be. Felt a bit like Alice in Wonderland in the bedroom/Gulliver from Gulliver's Travels as the furniture seemed so small. I didn't unpack my case because there wasn't enough space in the teeny weeny wardrobe. However the bed was comfortable and the room and bathroom were spotless - anyway we didn't spend much time there as there is sooo much to see.
The Breakfast room was lovely but there also wasn't a lot of room at the tables - bit of a balancing act with the crockery in the morning. The Hotel is in a great location and its lovely to look out your window in the morning to see the French walking by with their baguettes under their arms. Definitely would recommend this hotel as a quiet place to stay regardless of the limited space. Its the location, location!
PS As a vegetarian, its hard to find a decent main course in France as they all seem to be raw meat eaters.
