I had been to Corfu as a family holiday in about 2004 and liked what i had seen but was wanting to see somewhere new upon arrival in Kavos i Knew i had found this, thius area is mainly for the under 40's as its a party town with some choice resorts that are family friendly, the food and nightlife are incomparable to other resorts like malia and Ibiza as the food is reasonably priced and get nice food and portion sizes, and the nightlife is varied there are lots of bars and clubs to choose from dependng on the genre of music and ya personal mood, my evening started in either desperado's or Pavlos steak out with a nice meal and few drinks then on to rodneys on road for a few cocktails with real spirits and frewsh juices then move down the strip to 42nd street and Buzz Bar then few drinks in snobs or rolling stone then head to atlantis to party till the sun rises above ya head in this open air club on the seafront, i cant say much more then i have already made plans to go there for the whole sumer and work there....

The resort is lovely. The beach is beautiful, clear blue sea. There isn’t a great deal to do at night apart from relax in a restaurant or a bar, but we liked that. Very relaxing break.

My Fiance and I purchased a holiday on 14 July 2010, after all the problems with our flight being cancelled and having to book a new flight We finally got to Greece. Me and my Fiance Anna arrived at the Ionian Sea view Hotel Kavos Corfu Greece at 12am Tuesday 10th August 2010 as we walked into the Hotel reception a Gentleman said good luck that worried me a little. We gave our Hotel voucher to the man on reception he eventually handed us a key and pointed us in the direction of our room, the key did not work. We then took all our bags back to reception and told him it was the wrong key. He then came with us not helping us with our bags he could see we were struggling he tried the key it was wrong. He then went back again to get another key then took us to a room with no locks I complained he said its fine you need to jam the door shut. I asked my Fiance to try she could not open or shut the door. I then said this is not acceptable he said we have to stay in this room as they don’t have any spare rooms. I then said no I want to see the manager. One hour later the manager turned up he was very aggressive and rude to us he said if you don’t like the room then leave. I said no we paid for a room and we want what we paid for if you can’t supply us with a room then we want a refund. He then came up to my face and very aggressively shouted f off leave now, the security guard swung at me with a metal bar and the manager pushed me over my bags bruising, cutting and grazing my legs. I then ran outside in shock and called the Police, I feared for our safety.
The Police came and listened to what had happened they spoke to the manager, the manager came over to us and said he has another room and showed us to an empty room. It was not a four star room but still a room with a door that worked. We finally got to sleep at 5am. The next day we were so tired and upset it made things worse when we found out the shower was not working properly and we had no hot water the taps did not flow as they should and ants all over the room. The room was also very dirty and was not cleaned bedding was not changed and towels not changed. We did not bother to complain more as we were glad we had somewhere to sleep.
DO NOT STAY AT THIS HOTEL

I think this resort was one of the best Greek islands I have been to. Would definitely go again but perhaps try somewhere else to stay.

As we tend to travel about the island during the day we didn't spend much time in the resort, only in the evenings. It's a pleasant, laid back resort, more suited to couples than teens and twenties who would probably not find it lively enough. Evenings were spent in tavernas watching the world go by. Our favourite ones being Ozzie Oils, and Little Prince. One or two supermark ets to stock up with food and drink. Although we were there for 11 nights there were still severa restaurants we didn't get a chance to try. The only thing I would recommend is that if you have health problems, trouble walking etc., do check the whereabouts of your accommodation before booking as one or two hotels are up a very steep hill.

Roda is a lovely little town with good restaurants, our favourite being the 'Newport', good bars. The look-a-like singers are good too, check out Lady Gaga at Pirates, a bar with great staff and atmosphere. Roda is small enough to have some charm but with enough to do without being bored. Also a good location to tour other areas.

nice and lively not for teenagers, but family groups some shops to browse around. There were a lot of different tavernas to choose from but were all basically the same cost. nice to walk up the back of the town to see the residential part. The buses were few and far between and the walk back to our apartments was dreadful. there are no pavements out of town and you take your life into your own hands as the roads are unlit .

There's something for everyone and all ages in this resort. Very busy lively main street suitable for those that want to live it up and party into the small hours, but also there's places for eating more traditional on the outskirts which suits all. Nice all accomodation and hotels invite all it they wish to share their facilities which is very welcoming. Beaches and scenery excellent.

Sab Stefanos is the sort of resort which you get hooked on. The beach is beautiful (Not a shingle insight) the sea even more so, with ever changing colours of deep blue ranging to lightest turqoise, sunsets to die for, the friendliest people ever and an ever increasing range of terrific food. It is a bit cut off and a trek from the airport - but it really is worth it. It is surrounded by beautiful scenery and there are lots of walks, Have travelled all around Corfu but still feel this resort is the best. the surrounding villages are well orth visiting and there are direct buses to Corfu Town from the village a few times a day. not a resort to go patrtying but a wonderful resort for folk with small children - or for thos of us who love space around them on the beach even in the height of the season, let's hope it stays like this. It is wonderful. Ask all the many, many repeat visitor. But don't tell too many - letys keep it like this forever.

Sidari was a decent base for exploring Corfu, it is near some lovely beaches and not too far from Corfu Town. Some of the bars and restaurants round where we staying were a bit tacky and downmarket though.

Sidari review
"A great place for all ages."
resort to a friend
The apartments are set in beautiful country side, and with a short stroll across a field -3 mins - (pass a donkey that everyone wants to pamper) you arrive at the Wave bar and resturant, this is right by the beach. A 10 min walk along the sea front, you come to a supermarket and lovely tavernas where you can enjoy a lovely meal. Then stroll onto the main street of Sidari. Here you will find great shops, bars and resturants. Also there is a great vatriety of evening entertainment to suit all. If your tired after your evening out, you can get a taxi back for 6 euros. We love it in Sidari and keep coming back. There is Sidari water park with 3 big slides for big kids to adults and some smaller slides for the toddlers, my boys loved this. It is well worth a walk up to Canal D'Amour for great coves and good sea swimming.

As a resort Arrilas was very quiet and relaxing with plenty of shops, 3 small supermarkets and plenty of resturants, food in the supermarkets war 2-3 times uk price, resturants were about the same as uk price but the food was excellent, particularly in Kaloudis and Portafino
