As a couple in our Fourties we enjoy Roda very much it wasn't to busy & we met lots of lovely people. We spent a lot of time at Smilies .

We have heard wonderful things about this resort and it is very beautiful with bluffs and cliffs and beautiful bays. However my 2 issues for a family holiday were firstly that it is impossible to walk around without risking life and limb as there are no pavements so you are forced to walk in the road with cars zooming around cliff bends towards and behind you. Secondly, there is no town at Paleokastritsa - more a splattering of bars and tavernas strung along the coastal cliff roads so it lacked a real identity. We hired a car and spent most evenings in the beautiful village of Lakones above Paloekastritsa instead. One warning - the boat rides around the bays are very expensive and you do feel that the mercenary face of tOourism is rife here. 40 Euros for a 30 min boat ride around the bay! On a positive note, the food was lovely in all the tavernas we tried and the people very friendly and helpful. Would recommend George Michaelis for car hire - excellent rates.

sidari has lots of bars and restaurants,there is something for everyone in sidari! the beaches are nice. the views of the the canal de amour are amazing !

Kassiopi is a nice resort with enough to do without being loud and in your face. Nice ambiant atmospehere, most things low key. Resort was not heavilly populated in late July/early August. No queues, no crush.

Plenty of bars and tavernas. We avoided the places advertsing sky sports and carling/woodpecker/watney's red barrel. OK for those that want it. Bars around the harbour were good and not too expensive. Favourite places to eat were Istoni taverna, family run and excellent food/value. The Charcoal Grill near Jannis, fantastic grilled meats and dirt cheap, the Gyros Grill near the harbour, brilliant Gyros plate and great atmosphere. Never paid more that 70-80 euro for 6 with beer and wine at these places. Also ate at other nice taverna's, all good, some more expensive thatn others but none outrageous. I love Mythos beer. Drank at least 3 litres per day, best price I got was 2.00 E for 1/2 litre, highest I paid was 3.50 E around the Harbour but views were worth the extra quid.

Get a car and travel the coast road east and west, its brilliant with lots of little beaches and coves each way. Stunning views over to Albania, crystal clear sea. Had a boat for the day - best thing we did. Lots of Mossies this year but otherwise fantastic holiday for my family and I. Go its a great place. We'll go again.

Kavos is wild the resort caters for 20-30 year old who want to party hard,there is a generally friendly atmosphere and we did not encounter any trouble as everyone was friendly and just partying. There are all the usual eating places, dont expect great greek cooking, nice mexican food and steaks there is also a great chinese on the mimi bar street just along from the gym its well worth a visit. all the bars are selling the same things and offering the same deals really is a great place to party.

San Stefanos is a great place to go, there is a great beach with watersports and even a nudist beach at one end. All the restaurants and bars are down the main strip, and they are all very nice places to go. All the staff in each restaurant very friendly and always have a smile on their face. If you are looking for an english type restaurant/bar is Condor, every night they have entertainment with either karaoke or a tribute act, which to be fair quite good and not as cheesy as people may think. Zorbas has greek dancing every night by their own staff who take it in turns every 30mins to perform with either dancing or lifting tables with their mouths, a must see.

There is no class in kavos - you couldn't go for a nice glass of wine - you go to get hammered, and we did :) Beach is not amazing but not as bad as it could be. It does smell of sewage not constantly but some times. This is a clubbing holiday - dnt like clubbing dnt go.

Close by and easy, cheap trip into Corfu Town. This is not a resort as such as this appeared to be the only hotel. People went into town by taxi as it was cheap enough and so much easier. We never hired a car so only made the trip into town.

Kavos is party central peak season. Its pretty grime but what do you expect! Plenty of placed to go out and eat, beaches are nice and weather is always good. Bad points, rubbish hotels & mosquitos (they're everywhere) lol

The resort is good for all ages, from 65 - youngsters, plenty to do. There are also many day trips you can take around the island and also to Albania. The main beach is large and clean, there are also smaller beaches and cliff walks.

Sidari is as you would expect a small fishing village now geared up for Tourists. Plenty of very good restaurants and bars for all ages and also boom boom bars and clubs for the younger set. Something for everyone.

A.G. is the perfect resort for all kinds of parties with the exception of young fun seekers. It is very much a sun sea and beach holiday although there a quite a few pools which the public can use provided you use the refreshment facilities. there are numerous tavernas all offering fresh and relatively cheap cuisine. There are a few bars offering Sky sports and a couple of ' late ' bars. There are at least 5 supermarkets for provisions and accomodation is plentiful. Corfu Town is 30 minutes away by bus ( a couple of euros ) or by taxi ( 35 Euros )

I would return to Acharavi without hesitation. I love the laid back feel and everything is within walking distance. Beach was pebble beach but I dont like sand so it suited me, it was very clean and sea wonderful.

I would recommend Alexs Taverna on beach front for eating out as brill service and great value for money. We also like Acharavi Park on Main strip and Navigator on beach front, altough anywhere we ate was good.

Acharavi is suitable for families and couples looking for a laid back holiday, I will definately be returing.

Benitses is a Shanti Town. When you get in, it is all run down and most buildings have shut shop. This is apparently due to the night life moving to Kavos, but that was in the 80s. When you get to the other end of Benitses there is an amazing square with places to eat, but that is all.

There are many resorts in Corfu that are great places to be, but im sorry to say. Benitses is not one of them.

I like many others read the reviews before I book my holidays now, the reviews for this hotel ( The Little Prince) in the main are good so I booked. We were looking for a quiet resort with plenty of places to eat and not to much loud music and on most counts this resort was about right for a week’s holiday. Not enough going on or good restaurants for a two week stay. The hotel is well placed for the beach and the main strip with the small amount of bars and places to eat. As I have said not too many to cause you any problems and they all stop playing loud music by midnight
