Lovely resort, it is really small which suited is down to the ground. There a few nice restaurants and bars to relax in, but in general it is really quiet and relaxing.

We liked the resort. It was really quiet but we can't really picture them being much busier anyway. The sea is clear blue and the beach/rocks really nice.

Nice resort a fair bit to do and plenty of buses if needed. The town are airport very close to the resort.

Corfu Town is nice, but not too much there. Beaches are beautiful and the sea is fantastic. Weather was excellent when we were there. Not too many possible day trips when compared to other resorts. Overall, lovely for a hotel-based relaxing holiday.

We tried several restaurants but especially enjoyed the Picadilly on the road down to the town and Ponderosa on the right at the end of the road leading into town. Everyone was so friendly. For lunch we went to the Fantasia opposite the Picadilly. Beaches lovely went to the Baco beach and it was 5 euros for two beds and an umberalla. We used Jim in the town for the trips so much cheaper than the reps. Would recommend the resort but it could do with some nice apartments.

Nice quiet resort if want to rave go to laganas. Lots of nice quiet resaraunts, service with a smile. If you want to watch the football, no problem if you want a quiet beer then its the place to be.

Alykes is very close to Corfu Town, which is helpful since there is little to keep you here. We stayed at the Iberostar Kerkyra Golf Hotel which is set in its own grounds beside the dual carriageway that cuts through Alykes. The beaches are poor, there are not many shops or restaurant around the hotel, so night-life is therefore limited.

All though putting the resort is for familys with teens every age range would like Alykes. its not reall for the clubbing kind as its quite a quiet resort but my 21 year old daughter loves it! there a plenty of places to eat and drink and we have never had a bad meal. As with all Greek places you really do get value for money with you food and drink every where does a large portion. The night life is really just drinks around bars not clubs unless you travel down to Lagana. there are plenty of things to see and do, loads of shops for the ladies to look around and Zante town has some fantastic shops! Renting a Quad is a good idea as you can see all the places you wouldnt normally be able to get too!!

This resort has a lovely clean beach with very shallow waters making it perfect for children and adults alike.

Liked the resort as it was quieter than the other resorts we drove through. Beach was fantastic, 2 sunbeds and parasol for 5 euros per day. The train is a great laugh and takes you to a museum, church and restaurant. We did the turtle trip and were really lucky to see two turtles, long day though. The water park is a must, absolutely brilliant.

We liked the location here, not in the middle of things, but only a 15 minute stroll into the centre for all you bars and tavernas.

We didn't spend a huge amount of time in the resort in the day as we wanted to travel around the Island as much as possible. However the days we spent in the resort were lovely. The beach was very clean and within easy reach, even for pushchairs! There was a nice little jetty with rocks which was plesant to walk along and have a climb on the rocks. The water was crystal clear most days and there were plenty facilities right by the beach. The restaurants were great, they offered good Greek cuisine as well as English alternatives. Our particular favourite was the "Olive Tree", the one to avoid is "Dennis' " the food there was undercooked and not up to standard, shame as it had a nice play area for kids. There are plenty of places to hire cars, but avoid the Chinese restaurant on the walk down from the apartments, dodgey cars! The best one is a short walk into the main street "Maria" was the lady who dealt with ours - very helpful and good safe cars.

Not a place to visit if you think you are going to get all round sunshine - only if you go in July-Aug

Quiet resort no clubs but enough bars tavernas etc beach good

not realy a resort more industrial and offices.. corfu port is about 1km away with a few bars and tavernas, corfu town is about 3km away, taxi costs 10euros, roads are too bad to walk and buses come when they please.
