5 Star .... try halving that ! where oh where do they get that from ? poor, poor, poor food, drink, standards, cleanliness none of these.... dreadfull cross this one off your list its not even cheap and cheerful. talk about dissapointment the photographe...

Before we had come to Kavos, we had heard that the resort in general was not the best with the exception of the bars and clubs..and this was certainly the case.
The beach was very muddy and full of rubbish. There was a lingering smell of like bad eggs...
Before we had come to Kavos, we had heard that the resort in general was not the best with the exception of the bars and clubs..and this was certainly the case.
The beach was very muddy and full of rubbish. There was a lingering smell of like bad eggs which cropped up every now again all along the strip. The pavements and roads were constantly full of litter and many parts of the roads had holes which had just been left and not repaired. There were many bars which had closed down and the resort in general looked as though it has had it's day and is looking a bit old and derelict.
There are a few bars which are good though and I Would recommend that you go to Rolling Stones which plays a lot of indie music and there are also good places to go along the strip such as Buzz Bar, 42nd Street, Scorers and Rocky's. The booze cruise is also a good laugh and should be a definite for anyone going to Kavos.
I would also suggest that you go on bar crawls with your reps as you get to meet more people easily this way and also get to go to a good number of bars along the way.
The PR's can a bit full on and also the local kids which try and rip you off by selling you coloured bracelets for 3 euros a piece can do your head in!!
Overall our holiday was a good laugh and there definitely is not a shortage of booze and numbers of people along the strip however, for the party type of resorts, I would say that Kavos is in decline and is not a touch on Ibiza.

kavos is amazing for nightlife, definately for the younger crowd tho, if you want a relaxing holiday do not head here its 24/7 non stop party. smells in certain places but not as bad as some of the reviews say. beaches can be nice if you find the right spot...

would not recommend the ekati appts aka e-krapi. their filthy the toilets dont flush the beds are rock hard and you have to pay a fortune for the air con and safety box. the pool bar being 24hrs was wicked and very cheap.
