Having visited Roda in May we did find it rather quiet in October.Quite a few of the tavernas, especially directly on the seafront between Roda and Acharavi were closing whilst we were there. Saying that, we still managed to find some very nice eating places. Most of the restaurants in the village were still open. Food was good and very reasonably priced. Roda's seafront starts as sand and the further you walk towards Acharavi this turns to large pebbles and then back to sand/pebbles in Acharavi. Great area for the less mobile as there are no hills in the resort. The Corfiots are so friendly in this area and I would be happy to return.

"Great Hotel and Holiday"

Submitted in October 2008 by: John Simmons

Sixth time in Roda, so on that basis we obviously love it, its not for everybody, perhaps too quiet for teenagers, but the island has kavos for that type of holiday, if you like nice bars and tavernas then Roda will suit you.

"Good Holiday"

Enjoyed Roda for a reasonably quiet holiday, all facilities nearby and bars and restaurants all seem to be a good atandard. Prices of food similar at all establishments.
